Umm...I'm pretty sure Sony had a firewall up, probably not the best one, bu they probably had one I'm sure.

But to answer your question, not really. I mean the way Sony handled the hack was terrible, they waited an enitire week before they said what was going on, and they waited until the week was over before they told us about mabey having our informationcomprimised, that was STUPID! Plus they kept bringing out false info on there PS Blog, for instance first they released a statement that said "were just doing some scheduled maintenence, be back tomorrow" well tomorrow rolls around and they say "still doing some maintenance, tomorrow it will be up" and it just kept going and going....

With all that being said, while yes I do put some of the blame on Sony, it ultimately falls on the hackers. Sony shares some of the blame sure, but the majority of it is the hackers fault. I hope nothing like this ever happens again, and I hope it never happens to anyone else either. That's why I encourage everyone, wether they play on PSN or xbox Live or whatever, to change there password on a regular basis. Has xbox live been hacked? no and I hope it never does, but you be really naive to belive it's invincible to one. If some people really wanted to and were dedicated enough, they could hack xbox live.

Like I said I hope it never happens, and I'm not trying to scare anyone. But I see too many people thinking that they don't have to be cautious about their information on xbox live because they think it's invincible. Sorry but it isn't and that's why you need to take precautions just in case. In this day and age you can never really be too careful, especially with personal info...

[QUOTE="shahilsyed"] [QUOTE="McStrongfast"]It's a beta, of one Rush map. And you're judging the entire final game based on it.

McStrongfast

One map of a rush mode can give a HUGE taste of the actual retail game. Unless they totally change the structure of the game which'll take a long time.

One Rush map gives you a huge taste of that one Rush map. Caspian Conquest feels like an entirely different game, much more like BF2.

It's structured the same as BC2 and BF2 (sans CoC). How would it feel more like Battlefield if they totally changed the structure?

You're not supposed to be able to kill a dude by shooting his leg twice from 100 miles away. So that's either a bug or something they hadn't balanced properly for the beta, which is a number of weeks old. Complaining about things like this whilst arguing that applying your impression of the beta to the final game is rational, is insane.

I actually played Caspian Border, it feels nothing like BF2. Its a complete joke, it's a snipefest. Also When I killed a dude with SVD with two shots in the leg, I did it multiple of times. Sorry but the game is not balanced, especially with the snipers. HAHA, this is funny. BF3 is already getting hacked even though its not even out, this is so funny. This game will be a massive failure.

You can already play the MW3 beta. It's called MW2.

turtlethetaffer
No you fail. If you call MW2 the beta of MW3. Lets all call BC2 being a beta for BF3. See, how you like it.

[QUOTE="shahilsyed"][QUOTE="XVision84"]

Battlefield 3 feels exactly like past Battlefield games? Have you even played the beta? because it feels nothing like Bad Company 2. Also, do you really believe that you're going to get 16 maps in MW3? I'm sure it'll be around 10 and many of them will be sold for DLC. Also, Operation Metro (one of the smallest maps in BF3) is equial to about 3-4 CoD maps, and Caspian Border is equal to 6-7 CoD maps. You can't compare a game with miniature maps and arcadey gameplay to a large-scale vehicle focused warfare game. Battlefield 3 also adds in co-op which is something that hasn't been in the series before, I think that's a lot more of an improvement than an improved spec-ops mode. Battlefield 3 also has new weapons (in fact, BF3 has a lot more new weapons than MW3. There are a lot of weapons that are brought back such as the ACR 6.8, AK47, and SCAR-L in MW3), new attachments (more so than MW3 since MW3 doesn't have tactical flashlight, as many scopes as BF3, Bipod, Target pointer, Flechette rounds, smoke launchers, etc. etc.), and new features (again, more so than MW3 since BF3 has the platoon system, Battlelog, prone, and tactical gameplay). Not only that, but BF3 also sports a new UI, much improved animation, improved graphics, etc. Yeah, I think I just destroyed this argument ;). MW3 maps are also static, it's one set environment while in BF3 you go from an outside park to a subway and then into a city. MW3 is leagues behind BF3 :D

XVision84

The weapons list of Bf3 seems to be copy and paste from BC2. And you're being fooled. MW3 will have 16 maps in the full game. Also you're saying you can fit 3-4 COD maps into BF3 maps. You do BF3 maps have identical buildings, no detail on anything, and its like they put no effort in the game. BTW, MW3 will have more attachments. ALso can you answer this question, WHAT NEW GAME MODE IS BF3 ADDING? All I see is the same Rush and conquest. You fail this argument.

Okay, now I know you're trolling. Also, Battlefield 3 isn't adding any game modes at all. The Rush, Conquest, Squad Rush, Squad Conquest, and Deathmatch game modes are plentiful and are very varied. I'd rather have a few creative and fun game modes than 20+ generic game modes found everywhere.

How am I trolling? You obviously now cant accept people's opinion of saying. We had Rush, COnquest and SDM for the past 7 years, do you still find that plentiful and very varied? You had all those game modes since BF2 I believe. Also how is game modes like wager matches on BO, kill confirm3d generic? What? Those game modes never ever existed in a console game, COD basically ported those modes to consoles. If you're saying I'm trolling, I can surely say the same thing back.
