@Ballroompirate Change is good, but the problem is that they take it in the wrong direction. It's supposed to be a horror game....well...was.... When you exits pointed out to you and a friend with you that takes away from the horror element. There are problems that need to be corrected. Games being the same can ALSO be good with minor adjustments. The game looks more of a movie rather than an actual game.

1st mistake. Leons campaign going for more of a traditional horror when you have a PARTNER with you. 2nd mistake. Automatically pointing out the exit upon entering a large room makes the person usually want to go straight there instead of exploring anything. Jesus, capcom. Go back to the old formulas.

@funkymonkey4710 If they do it correctly, I'm all for it. I was fed up after finding out what Capcom did with SFxT and Dragons Dogma.

@Jyakotu Triple A games are almost never worth the 65 bucks you have to pour into them.

I welcome it. I'm tired of the "need" for high end graphics and such. Plus with all the DLC bs going on and activation codes and DRM problems. I'm definitely willing to give these new guys a shot.

If you want to fix the near release problems, Cacom, then why don't you release a patch that simply unlocks all the content off the bat? Doesn't seem like you got the hint. You are probably still going to milk things but this time you just won't have the content on the disk. Granted it will betrue DLC however I still believe you will simply milk customers and not give them the full product when purchased.

@Mariner32 I agree. They let single player campaigns suffer because MP brings in monthly fees (for xbox live) and dlc can milk the crap out of people.

I think this guys an idiot. Up on his high horse over gears of war. Thought Shadows of the damned needed a multiplayer? If every game went for multiplayer only it would just take up precious memory for the story player campaign. ESPECIALLY if it wasn't meant to be a multiplayer game. The pvp in Dark Souls seems kind of tacked on to be honest but I enjoy the game because there was a lot to explore and do by yourself.

counter strike was competitive gaming. CoD? Not so much in aiming (which is ironic since thats what the big thing was about the series to begin with) but rather with map controlling. Which is even MORE ironic since Halo was more about that than CoD was. I could see MW being competative but only with barebone modes or no killstreaks. As long as I get my offline bots, zombies, and custom options (hopefully with zombies as well.) I'm a happy man.

Sigh. My early 20s was when cs source was around and 1.6. The game just felt good. Plus I did really enjoy the kind of straight forward round modes. Even with Call of Duties Search and Destroy. It just simply does not capture the same feeling. The fact that when you took down 3-4 guys in the first round gave you a key advantage money wise, was just awesome. Fail and you get mp5s or body armor. Win and you may even be able to afford an assault rifle by the second round.
