@derp215: I liked all of them that I played. Didn't play Unity or Liberty. Main reason I didn't play Unity is it seemed to be made for multiplayer (which I have no interest in) so I went for Rogue (on pc) and it's single player game. Enjoyed all of them and liked Black Flag the most.
I'm not really excited about this game because of Dark Souls 1 and 2, 2 games I didn't really care for. I did love Demon Souls and Bloodborne but not the Dark series. Played both dark series on console and pc and it fealt like all versions were just a downgrade from Demon Souls. When they made Bloodborne it seemed they finally got back to making a better game, liked it more than Demon Souls.
Will rent Dark Souls 3, but really don't expect much. Maybe I'll be wrong, was wrong about Bloodborne because at the time I wasn't expecting much from it.
@ughz: I'm sorry but if your claiming the xbox was better than the ps2 or the xbox 360 was better than the ps3, or that they had better games then you are DROWNING in your xbox fanboyism (is that a word?). I owned the ps2, xbox, ps3, and xbox 360 and they all had great game libraries with great games and anyone saying that one was so much better than the other is an obvious fanboy.
Like I have said, I want to buy an Xbox One, now I'm just waiting for Microsoft to add games to their library that give me a reason to.
@RSM-HQ: Each game generation I have always owned both the Sony and Microsoft game consoles, but this generation Microsoft hasn't released anything that makes me want to buy the Xbox One. All games I have been interested in I can get on the PS4 or PC. I plan on checking the Xbox One game library again some time next year to see if they have finally released anything I care for.
I only care for single player games, have no interest in multiplayer, so maybe Microsoft is mainly interested/invested in multiplayer games so that's why they have nothing to offer me.
I honestly WANT to buy one but just can't because of the Xbox One game selection.
@merwanor: I LOVE open world games, but even I didn't get MGSV (didn't even rent it which is what I do with new releases) because I don't care for stealth games. When there is nothing else available and I have played everthing I'm interested in then I might rent it. If they make an open world COD I doubt I'll play it either, unless if it is some futuristic COD game I "might", but if it's just modern day or past war shooter, no.
@Tiwill44: For me the more open world games the better. At least they have hundreds of hours of gameplay in them instead of other games that have 10 or 20. So yes, bring on the open world games because I like choice and freedom in my games not corridor shooting linear games that have no reason to play through them more than one time.
Yes, I see this as a possitive thing. My favorite games were all single player only titles. Many times when I'm not too interested in a game, and was probably not going to purchase it, when I find out it is single player only game I will end up buying it to support developers that make them.
