possibly the only thing i am worried about, is SEGA doing really badly, forcing them to unload some assets which leaves the TotalWar franchise with a crappy publisher(Activision used to own it after all....)
@Dizoja86 The fact is, is that there isn't any real evidence that violence in game leads to violence in real life, so i can't understand where this 'common knowledge' your referring to, is coming from.
@Dizoja86 you're massively over-simplifying the situation.
Violence in a video game isn't real, and that's the sticking point here. And since people aren't stupid(generally), they can differentiate between how violence in a game means nothing, and violence in the real world affects peoples lives seriously.
People have a natural ability for empathy, for putting yourself in somebody else's shoes so to speak, and that is one of the main driving forces to our sense of morality(i'm not a big fan of religion, but they got that 'treat others as you would want to be treated' thing right). Since violence in a game isn't real, and everyone without a serious disorder understands that, there is not a 'connection' to be made with the pixels on the screen, you feel nothing for the guy you shot in the face in CoD, because you can understand that it means nothing.
however, going on a rampage through the streets with an AK47 in real life CoD style, that affects peoples lives.
