@Tokugawa77 There might be a series of events/battles, that take place in a seperate campaign, which will culminate in the siege on Carthage. such as the campaign in Empire total war, "The Road to Independance", where you start off building up Jamestown, and then eventually overthrowing the British from Boston.

Just an idea, guess we will have to wait and see.

Ever since medieval II, when there was a - very misleading - picture of vikings, that were seemingly coming off of boats, i have wanted a kind of combination of naval/land battles.

So in Rome 2, that'll mostly be all of europe + north africa and a decent chunk of the middle east, probably around isreal to halfway through iran.

And besides, if CA don't put in new factions (very unlikely), people will just mod the game so you can play whoever you want.

@Scorpion1813 not any news, but if other TW games are anything to go by, there will be a complete roster of other factions to play as.

Since this gameplay takes place in a scripted event, you will most likely be able to play as Carthage on the campaign map, among others (like franks/gauls/macedonia/britons etc)
