Which do you prefer and/or play more often? A good example of tactical would be GRAW or R6V while arcadey would be Halo or UT.

A poll would have been good for this, I know (dam you and your one poll a day GS!)

And don't say neither if you don't like FPS, just don't respond.

Why put this in SW? This should be in 360 forums, there is no place for happy-go-lucky threads in SW about 1 console... MrGrimFandango

People discuss franchises all the time in SW. And yes it does have to do with SW because its titles like 3 that could win the console wars.

I think the things you are trying to do is make it into a Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon type FPS, and it just isn't that. It's more of a freelance FPS game, more like UT but with a slower pace. I agree that the 4 ways you discussed would improve the game, but it would also change the game to a different type of FPS. I don't think Halo should be a calculated shooter, its arcadey, party like feel is what made it Halo IMO.

[QUOTE="shsonline"]So in other words the Wii isn't being bought for the games, but for the remote?zh666

you realize you play games with that remote right?

Yes. But I guess I'm just wondering if it's the controller thats driving the sales, as opposed to the games themselves.

Gimmick or no gimmick I do give Nintendo props for doing something different. However, I wonder if it was more or less an act of desperation. Would the Wii have garnered as much interest if it had a traditional controller and would Nintendo still been able to compete with the other guys?

Just keep the PS3 because it will last you long term...look at the PS2 its still coming out with great makes...this week GOD of War 2.navneet21

The thing is that console successors don't always perform as well as the previous console. Different gens, different outcomes.

They already made a remote, but yeah they wouldn't be so dumb to make it the standard controller. They would probably make it the peripheral or add on. I still like playing my games, not playing my controller.

[QUOTE="El_Fanboy"]stick with the ps3, and if you save up more money, buy a 360. 6 or 7 years down the road you will thank me. this is coming from a 360 only owner

LOL. What if he wants to play great games NOW?
