I'll give you MS really did pave the way for online on consoles but it's not really anything new. Most of this stuff was on PC's years before. Sony and Nintendo paved the way for MS mainly (More Nintendo).Ibacai

I think he's trying to make the point that they brought that PC stuff to home consoles.

[QUOTE="loco145"]We have more titles coming to Wii than what’s been announced HOWEVER, I must admit, many of them (outside of RE) are not mature titles despite the fact that’s an area Capcom is known for.

By and large, we don’t see the Wii being home to an sizble mature playerbase outside of some of the early adopters. We see it as being very, very broad with a family focus (especially in Japan). If there is a “core player base” on Wii, within two years, it will be largely a younger player (far younger than 360 or PS3).

You’ll see more announcements later this year on this front.

Yeah well if Capcom says Wii is teh kiddy then it's got to be true right?

Uh, in a word...yes?

I don't get the sarcasm, I think Capcom knows a little something about games and the gaming industry.

[QUOTE="D0wnfall1"][QUOTE="shsonline"][QUOTE="D0wnfall1"]Halo 2's biggest flaw was it's skill level, hope its fixed with 3. Spartan070

What exactly do you mean "skill level"? There were people who were incredibly skilled at Halo 2, and there were those who weren't.

The learning curve of Halo 2 is almost nothing compared to Halo 1. Halo 2 is pretty much about teamwork and has almost nothing to do with individual skill. The longer you stay with your team the better you get, Carbon and FB are both examples. In Halo 2, the better weapon wins. Any matchmaking noob can dual wield and find someway to kill you just by large amounts of spraying. I played Halo 2 since the day it came out, got good, but stopped playing because the only way to get noticed in the game is by being on a team that is successful.

No, the problem with that is to many people only play online and they get used to certain weapons. After being forced to use all the weapons in Legendary, you become very proficient at them. I'm equally deadly with any weapon.

Exactly. Bottom line I guess if you continue to get pwned by "noobs" then you are not as skilled as you think.

Best use of music in any game :D

Let's not get into genre bashing, that's why I didn't include Guitar Hero and games that rely on actual real life commercial songs. Let's leave the discussion about actual pure videogame soundtracks.

The top two off my head I would say are the original Halo, Halo 2 soundtrack and the FF7 soundtrack. But there's also Oblivion, Castlevania Symphony of the Night, and I'm sure others I'm forgetting.

We all know Halo 2's biggest flaw was single player
Spartan070
agreed

That's a pwnable offense...never say that again.

What? Halo 2 single player was rushed, uncreative level design, short, and full of cliches and loop holes?

I've played through it 85 times and counting, it was awsome. And of all the things it was, short was not one of them. The Arbiter is the best original character I've everseen in a game.

I agree. I was only upset because I had to wait to play as Master Chief again. But it does make you appreciate playing as MC.
