I think it's a pretty bad idea. This basically sums up Sony's logic:

no, looking at CIAs track record of faking bin laden videos, i dont doubt one bit that all these audio messages released from him are fake as well and why wouldnt they be when bin laden is likely dead and i have as much evidence of that as you have of him being alive.
