I just picked up Fight Night a few weeks ago.

 It's and awesome game.  The career mode is very addicting.

[QUOTE="chacas"]What is this about?? i thought it was an online comunity but all i see is a world map and a bacteria thingie moving nonsense and doing nothing more? did i do something wrong or do i have to wait the 8 hours it says to complete the investigation. Help appreciated.jhcho2

'Folding@Home' and 'Home' are two different things. Folding@Home is a program which enables you to simulate protein folding which can be used to cure cancer and sends back the simulation results to someplace when it is done. Home is an online community where you basically have a virtual double.

What Folding at Home does is it lets Stanford (I believe) borrow the computing power of you PS3 to analyze proteins which could lead to cures for diseases.  This has been done for years in PCs.  It's basically constructing a supercomputer out of idle systems signed on to their network.  It takes an incredible amount of computing to do this analysis and this is a way of pooling it together so that researchers at the university can do their work.

[QUOTE="simpfan742"]

[QUOTE="gp19"]Twice. The first time was 6 months after I bought it. I did the troubleshooting provided in the MS webpage and it was fine. But 3 weeks after that I got it again due to pretty hardcore overheating, and had to send my console for repair (I got it back in 5 days though). For my second console I bought a computer fan, and now it doen't even get warm.gp19

Is that how long it takes? I just got the ring of death the other day but I power cycled and it worked again. I think I may still send it in for repairs but I didn't know how long it would take.

Some people don't get it again, I guess is a matter of luck

My question was about the time it takes for Microsoft to turn around a system that has been sent in to them.

I get a pretty blue cover for my cable. Well worth the extra money IMO.
