What do you consider non-manual syncing? Anyway, I doubt it has anything to do with the update, since all it did was let you use the vote channel.the_leet_kid


Non manual syncing would be turning the console on, then turning the controller on and it automatically reverts to controller #1.

I downloaded the vote update today and upon restarting of my Wii, I was not able to sync my remote.

I tried the manual sync with the button under the battery door and the button on the console but nothing works. 

I was working perfectly fine just seconds before I downloaded the update.   I changed out batteries but that wasn't the problem.

Any ideas?

OMG who cares??  Everyone keeps posting the same crap.  Rumble was nice but I don't think it makes or breaks the PS3.  GEEZZ!!!

Anyway, I finally picked up a surround system because I got slammed before for having just two speakers from a mini hi-fi component stereo... (which still sounds damn nice). So the next thing to do is to properly place my rear speakers somewhere which I haven't quite figured out how I'm going to do it yet.

Sorry... bad quality photo but this is the best I can do for now. I don't have money for a nice digital camera and you can see why.
