Basically, I want an equalizer, the on-board card has all the ports but there is no equalizer! The headset has multiple speakers in each headphone, and I can adjust each one. Would installing a sound card with an equalizer significantly increase the audio sound for games and music? Or, am I just waisting my time? lol Thank you for any FeedbackTheFarseer2

A sound card would not significantly increase the audio sound for games and music in your situation. A good headphone would significantly increase the audio sound. If you hear a lot of background noise from the motherboard, then a Xonar DG would lower that noise.

Looking for a new mouse, here's my criteria:

- Doesn't make a constant high frequency noise (this rules out most Logitech mice)

- Inexpensive (I paid $40 for my last mouse)

- Around 800-1800 DPI is convenient

1080p is not really a big deal with big screen TV gaming, especially since the picture is always in motion.

[QUOTE="ket222"]

i accidentally put in the vga cablei'm not very happy with the resolution of videos on my new monitor now will putting in the dvi cable instead make a difference and look a lot better??

ChubbyGuy40

It wouldn't make a big difference, or any at all. Although some digital content will not play over VGA. Best to switch out for DVI/HDMI.

It can sometimes make a noticeable difference, especially when looking at text. My LCD monitor looks blurry with VGA.

[QUOTE="silversix_"]No point of spending 500$ on a pc that plays games on settings lower than what ps360 can. I say spend at least 1000$ on a gaming rig or play on consoles.MrSelf-Destruct
For $500 you can do a hell of a lot better than what a PS3 or 360 could.

At $500, I would rather just buy a console..

That is a very good deal for $180. Note that the average price for that monitor has been around $190 in the last couple months.
