A GTX 580 is less than 600 bucks and can max out Crysis at 1080p easily.:P

What graphics card can play Crysis at sub-HD resolution, 30 fps, a mixture of low, medium, and high settings, and with all the levels scaled into a narrow linear shooter? All the cutscenes can be pre-rendered in CGI too.

The AD700 is even better, but the bass will be almost non-existent.

It's a trade off. You will have to find the balance between boomy bass and good sound quality.

I get about 45 fps average in TF2 with an overclocked GTX 460 1GB. Source seems to be heavily CPU-dependent, especially with their multiplayer games.

Considering this is essentially the first time they've had this issue, I'd say cut them some slack.Treflis

And why should any server issue prevent someone from playing a single player? Bioware/EA is just greedy because of used game sales.

Why not get another PX2370? The LG monitor may be of comparable image quality to the PX2370, but may have different characteristics (i.e. you have a solid blue background but can never get the two monitors to be the same color).

Question: Are you going to put the monitors side-by-side? If not, disregard my previous comments. Go with the LG or better yet, a cheap ass ASUS monitor from Amazon.

I searched google for you: http://www.randyrants.com/2006/07/sharpkeys_211.html

There may be other options, but this was the first result that came up. Use it at your own risk - it applies a registry hack to make this possible.

Is it possible to map a keyboard short cut to increase/decrease volume?

Not worth it for an entry-level headphone like the HD555.

Linux is quite useless for gaming, since nearly all commercial games are developed for Windows (and sometimes OS X) only. If you are curious though, try out Arch Linux, Debian, and Fedora.
