@dannyodwyer @sirchick I didn't even look at the number score i don't really know what 9 out of 10 even means its just a number. But should influential writers be one sided with their opinions ... or should they be balanced in their review, given alot of people depend on reviews to pick their next game.

A great game might be completely missed by girl gamers put off by the criticism... when lets be honest the game doesn't reflect men any better than it did the women.

Is it right in your view? I personally am not sure.

@jimgray1066 @sirchick regarding that...I personally think Gamespot should pause comments shift through the last week or so searching for keywords in the database and out right ban those who threated the reviewer.

None of my comments here are in support of the angry backlash i just want a nice adult debate.

@dannyodwyer the justification is why it only criticises one side of the coin. Example:

It would be like criticising call of duty for allowing you to knife people... but not even mentioning the fact that you can shoot people. When i say justification i mean a mature debate on it i don't know the best word. Isn't the point of this community to debate about these things?

I think calling then childish teenagers and young creeps (might) just add fuel to the fire. But its too late on that part :P I don't apply to me anyway.

Okay, i doubt GameSpot will reply but... I may have mis interpreted this video but im going to post my view. Firstly i agree totally with all anger nonsense that can do one. I'm not realy going to say much else about it.

Now:

On the feedbackular video page click the "top comments" i think mine is the second top liked comment (so you can find it). I made a very valid point regarding the review and what I thought it was a bit daft.

Now I doubt HIGHLY, GameSpot will ever respond with justification for their review based on my and other's comments about it...

You have allowed all the angry trolls to take over and thus ignored any one who made valid points to question and debate the review. Leaving us mature fans unheard... this is where GameSpot failed us fans.

The fact this video sneakily calls people "childish teenagers" or "young creeps" seems also a bit hypocritical to then say we should all get along..if you want us to get along why are you name calling in your video... you're therefore no better than when you were a teenager it would seem.

I'll leave that one open for debate with others as I did not get angry those names don't apply to me but it will certainly irk some people about professionalism I'm sure.

So GameSpot... again please stop going on about it and stop feeding trolls. Talk to us non angry fans with counter points to our very valid points regarding the review.

@kamikazeespleen some good points you make. You might be right there with COD.

Although it did let you slaughter people in an airport if i remember. And the new game allows you to use dogs and women in multiplayer...so incomes the shit storm soon again i guess.

I await a credited scientific paper on this not a middled aged politician who knows nothing about psychology and neuro science.

Only then will i even remotely listen this subject.

i've been enjoying the game too much to care :P In fact the sheer size of this game im surprised how so few bugs there are.

Its very impressive, games not even half this size, are often riddled with bugs due to developers being too lazy to fix them because they want to sell it asap.

I really hope this sets the benchmark for future games for the next gen. The profits they made surely shows you make a good game, you will get rewarded for your efforts.

Can you learn to drive from a racing game. NO.

Why does GTA always get this stupid negative press about these issues but no other game. Completely retarded. I'm sure its out of habit now rather than any scientific basis.

COD didn't get this problem that sold alot too and that involved shooting people.

FYI there has never ever been scientific evidence to suggest games have an effect on people in these kind of ways. So why are these subjects even questioned. If i see research from a credited science paper on a site like arXiv.org then I will watch the video.

There for i ask Gamespot to stick to game reviews and not try and bring the same issues the government keep bringing up. AKA STFU about this already. Its so not needed from a game review website.
