My kids Love their PS3 and play regulary, love my PS3 120 slim too,but the Mrs can't stand gaming,so I'm restricted to when she goes out or when she goes to bed before me.I hope this matches gaming discussion. I was curious about how each member's family, if they're living with you, viewed the PS3, if they play it, or if they even know of its existence. I'm...trusting an argument couldn't possibly stem from this, so be respectful!

Thanks. So if the game doesn't require the installation, but I still want to install it. Can I install it?DEATH775Nope-You can't,you will only need to install some games-such as MGS4 when prompted.

Well it seems to be happening to lots of 60Gb models-seems like just over 2 years old and it's GAME OVER!Well It finally happened, my 60 GB PS3,which I originally got a launch, crashed(blinking yellow light). I accepted this fact and decided to get another one. But here'smy problem, I had all my pics, movies, music, and saved game data on my old ps3 and I was wondering how do I go about transferring that data from the hard drive over to my new ps3. Now keep in mind I tried swapping hard drives but it prompted me to format the hard drive(which I didn't do). There must be a way to transfer all that saved data? Please help

We just sold my sons 60GB launch PS3 cos we heard you only get 3 months warranty on a refurb exchange from Sony, and to be honest we didn't want to be in "the same boat" only 3 months down the line after paying about £131 for a refurb. So we bought a brand new 80GB fat PS3-cheaper than a slim, and got full 12 months warranty, and to be honest we only miss the 4 USBs of the 60GB and couldn't really care about B.C. cos we got a slim PS2 anyhows.
My sons 60GB did exactly the same 2 weeks ago,i heard it was £131 for a straight swop refurb. which they exchange on your doorstep-they deliver the refurb and take away your broken 60GB,usually within about 3 days of you calling Sony.Trouble is-you only get 3 months warranty with the refurb,so we sold our broken 60GB,and now my son has new 80GB Fat PS3 with a full 12 months warranty.Tonight while playing MAG, my original launch 60gb ps3 suddenly shut down and got the red blinking light. I tried replacing the hdd and checked the cables, but it still does the same. So, Im assuming the only thing to do is call sony and dish out $150 to get it fixed. For those of you who have had this problem or had to send in ur ps3 to sony, how long does it take? I read some where that it can possibly take 2-6 weeks, I can't wait that long.

Well if the demos anything to go by?-then i wont be buying the full game-I've tried several times to get a multiplayer game and never yet managed to find enough players to begin and get fed up waiting!Ouch! I was expecting at least a seven. :(

I am buying a ps3 in a week or 2, and I was wondering if their is any issues with the slim.redskins26rocs
I've had my 120GB slimfor less than 1 week now,had a 80Gb fat PS3 b4+also a 60GB launch PS3,and i think apart from the good looks and 4 USBs on my old 60,then the slim is far quieter, smaller, lighter and a really good looking console sat on my video unit.
Touch wood-runs like a dream so far,but have noticed that it makes the occasional loud click-i guess due to the casing expanding when it's been on for a couple of hours or more+i've read other people had the same with theirs in Gamespot forums, but it's nothing to worry about.
