I have a problem with my ps3, I can't play with it or anything. I have put the right cables where they belong, I start the ps3 theres the normal green light is on, but I can't find the ps3 on the TV, I have tried with two different Televisions, not the HDMI cable though, but that one is in a bag that I can't actually get the hold of right now, what is wrong? and btw I have opened the ps3 once, only the hard disk to check something but I set it into the same spot where it belongs so it shouldn't be a problem, and I haven't used the ps3 since that time, around 2-4 weeks ago... help! just got Demon's Souls and I want to play :(

I have been hearing alot about the YLOD (yellow light of death)and just wondered if everyone that got this plays or has played online, at least a little. I have never gotten the YLOD (knock on wood), but I have no online connection for my PS3, so I was just wondering if there might be a correlation between online and YLOD? Thoughts anyone?

I have a 80 gig MGS 4 bundle ps3. Mine is backward compatible ( I don't play ps2 games) and comes with a dual shock 3.

My friend wants to trade me for his PS3 slim with a dual shock 3.

Is that a fair trade, or would I be getting ripped off? I payed 599 for my ps3 but that was 18 months ago.
