You're Not making much sense-what the Hell are you going on about?I have a problem with my ps3, I can't play with it or anything. I have put the right cables where they belong, I start the ps3 theres the normal green light is on, but I can't find the ps3 on the TV, I have tried with two different Televisions, not the HDMI cable though, but that one is in a bag that I can't actually get the hold of right now, what is wrong? and btw I have opened the ps3 once, only the hard disk to check something but I set it into the same spot where it belongs so it shouldn't be a problem, and I haven't used the ps3 since that time, around 2-4 weeks ago... help! just got Demon's Souls and I want to play :(

I couldn't even get anything to show up in Playstation store last night-I get into store ok,but when it tries to load any game pics then i kept getting an error message and i thought Sony said the problems were fixed, plus i got a Slim, which was meant to be unaffected by Sunday/Mondays clock problem?i just downloaded call of duty classic and it isnt showing up under my games so i cant play it. does anybody know a way to fix this or somehow get my money back

I think that there's a strong possibilty that because online play makes the PS3 work much harder-you hear the disc drive working a lot more, then it's going to be getting hotter more often and therefore more likely to get YLOD than someone who only uses their console offline.I have been hearing alot about the YLOD (yellow light of death)and just wondered if everyone that got this plays or has played online, at least a little. I have never gotten the YLOD (knock on wood), but I have no online connection for my PS3, so I was just wondering if there might be a correlation between online and YLOD? Thoughts anyone?

To put it shortly-I had a 60GB-with B.C. from launch and more recently A 80 GB,but now have a 120 GB Slim and id say that you best trade asap, cos the Slims are less likely to get the ylod because they run cooler and quieter due to the smaller chips inside. And i've found it to be my favourite console from the 3 ive had so far.I have a 80 gig MGS 4 bundle ps3. Mine is backward compatible ( I don't play ps2 games) and comes with a dual shock 3.
My friend wants to trade me for his PS3 slim with a dual shock 3.
Is that a fair trade, or would I be getting ripped off? I payed 599 for my ps3 but that was 18 months ago.

If you've bought a slim, then you might never get this problem anyhows.Seems like most Fat 60Gb expire just on or around 2 years old.Hey, I don't mean to thread hi-jack or anything, but where exactly does the YLOD show up at? I recently got a PS3 a few months ago, and I'm just wondering where it would show up at.
