it's very sad to see that the technology is causing so much problems.i have a ps2 before my ps3 and i heard many thing about freezing issue and it happened to me once.i can't believe they cannot build something hot that work.if my ps3 break i'll return on my ps2 i got 40 hots games

I think I discerned the basic meaning of that sentence... anyway, I have turned my PS3 off and on about 4 times now, even let it sit for a while to cool down, and it is still freezing on me... there is either something wrong with the game or the console, and if it's the console, i am going to be absurdly ****ing pissedAre your other games still working ok?-Cos if they don't cause any freezing,then it's gotta be a problem with the GOW 3 Disc
I have an external HDD and I am buying a new PS3 Slim and giving my PS3 Fat to my brother, and I go to copy my saves and I get all of them except for Heavy Rain and Dante's Inferno. Anybody know why? I am almost done getting the Platinum for Heavy Rain and I can just get it on my brothers, but this is just bothering me for some reason.

Yea some game saves are forbidden due to copyright reasons or summat-i found the same with some of mine-and it was the same on my 80Gb Fat PS3 as on my now 120Gb slim.
Just about everywhere the system is out of stock, I don't know if this is due to bad handling of anticipation of FF13+GOW3 or they simply can't meet demand.
Other merchants on amazon are selling the 120Gb for 369.00 US, crazy. Can't tell if this is a good or bad thing for Sony, loss of a customer at any time.

Well I've bought 3 PS3s from ebay-two 60GB launch models and last September an 80GB version-All brand new and sealed and all were far cheaper than i would have paid in the shops and all were problem free apart from one of the 60s died from YLOD after approx 2 years and 3months,which i believe is average for this version.
I currently have a 120GB Slim which i got completely free with my new mobile phone contract.
I have an old fat 40gb model and decided that I would need a new hard drive due to the lack of space. My brother has an old fat 20gb model and he recently switched his hard drive to a 250gb with no problems. Well, I went and purchased the same hard drive (a 250gb SATA, WD Scorpio Blue $59.99) and it just won't seem to work. I backed up everything on my old hard drive with an external and when i put in the 250gb hard drive then try to put all my backed up stuff from my old har drive it says something like nothing found and i need some 3.15 update or something....
Does anyone know anything about this??

Yea-You gotta go to your pc,download firmware 3.15 from Playstation.com,save in onto a memory stick in a file titled "PS3 "and within a subfile-UPDATE.Then plug the memory stick into USB socket on your PS3,switch on and follow instructions-Your PS3 will update the new hard drive from the file on memory stick-This update basically provides your new hard drive with the PS3 System files it needs to run and recognise the PS3.
