Smoother loading between saved/checkpoints,while playing campaign.I've only just bought KZ2 and it reminds me much of Half life 2 on my old pc-or Quake 4 on my launch 360-a lot of freezing laggy moments at HD save points. But overall,an excellent game, and i'm playing on one month old 120Gb slim,,and all my other games run smoothly,so i know it's not the console causing laggy bits.

[QUOTE="atc-fanatic"]Which I am. I had gotten one from the Sony blu-ray player that I had for a little bit before getting the PS3. My parents have the player now, heheh.the ps3&360 both upscale regular dvds as long as youre using the hdmi cable.

Full screen? Got it. Why, otherwise it does Widescreen? Is that a bad thing?Yea i think you'll get your dvd output in widescreen or 4:3 if you dont set it to FULL-depending on what format is on the dvd your playing.Yep-As long as you've set it up in settings on XMB-Best set to FULL screen.

It's not selling at all here in UK-Cos you simply can't get a new PS2 console from anywhere and haven't been able to for probrably about 12-18 months. They're as rare as rocking horse s*it!The PS2 is still selling pretty well on the market right now. Why would they put PS2 games on PSN and lose money from selling their PS2 consoles?

i managed to get a good slim 2nd hand one from ebay though.
Well here in UK it seems like production of the PS2 ended a way long time ago-To find a brand new PS2 in any gaming shop is about as rare as rocking horse s*it !There is a possibility, not until they stop production of the PS2 though

Yea-The Slims run cooler and quieter cos its chips are smaller and use less power than the Phat models. The fan outlets are on rear of the Slim console so just remember not to push it too close to a wall or other obstruction so that it has airspace at rear.
I've owned a 60Gb and 80GB,but my 120GB Slim is my favourite-Much more compact too.
I just completed Uncharted 2 on normal setting last night and i must say in my 20 years of gaming -It's simply the best-So far!YA, Im not fooling around anymore.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves... Maaaaybe Modern Warfare 2.

I would never down trade to the newer systems on the market now. My 60 gig is still going strong with no signs of slowing down. I leave it on 24/7 and never take the disc out unless I'm going to some other media on disc like games or movies.jimm895Thats not Downtrading-You mean Upgrade
Think that's only if you're gonna use it as an external USB hard drive. When i fitted a Western Digital 320GB hard drive to my 80Gb PS3,i just put it straight into PS3 and applied the latest firmware update via USB memory stick as i have already said in my 1st posting in this topic.I did my hd a while ago but I think the HDD needs to be formatted as FAT32?

Yea-Get on your pc with a memory stick or cd rom-Go to playstation.com and download the latest firmware for PS3.Then make a file titled PS3 and within that file another file titled UPDATE and put the firmware download into there. Then plug your USB memory stick into your PS3 and Hey Presto!-It should update your new hard drive and then you can run through all the initial set up.I have been trying to upgrade my hard drive in my PS3 and have not had much success. When I try to install the new hard drive, it says, "Cannot start. The correct hard disk was not found." I have an external hard drive and have already backed up all of my information from myPS3 so I could restore it after I put the new one in, but the new one is not getting formatted like the instructions onSony's website say it should. Any suggestions...?
