@GarGx1: Good thing you put (yet!) at the end of that statement. How would it be fair for pc gamers to play for free yet console gamers need to pay? IDK if they are bringing the free monthly games to pc and maybe that can keep it free on pc but in reality if a console gamer has to pay so should a pc gamer.
@sladakrobot: I think Scorpio is going to be more powerful or just as powerful as a high end pc. Anyone below that in the pc space will obviously have inferior setups. If what Phil is sayng is right and the gpu is in comparison to a 980 (maybe Ti) than anything 970 and below is weaker and 90% of the pc gamers I know are still using 750Ti's
@dominoodle: Agreed. Think of all the 10-15yr olds that dont care about pc's for gaming. The console market will always out perform pc sales.. It does happen but most kids dont get pc's for xmas, they get consoles..
Why would Eddie quote Playstation? MS IS both console and pc. Sony isn't. I think this play anywhere idea is awesome!! I actually have a very capable gaming rig so this will work out great for me. I'm willing to bet most console gamers dont have a gaming pc and games like Halo aren't going to run on some old pc or budget pc, at least not well. So this is a typical Eddie article pretty much making it sound like anyone without an Xbox miraculously will be able to play Halo 6 but he fails to mention the costs of a gaming rig.. SMH

@the-games-masta: Honestly so do I. Oculus and Vive have been out for months now and I rarely hear anyone even talk about it anymore. Sony is going to hype up this VR crap and you watch after 6 month it will be just like PS Move. I wish people wouldnt pre order this because Sony needs to feel like they did back when PS3 launched. LOST....... Seriously! I love my PS consoles and my Ps4 is ok but Sony thinks who the hell they are when people are rushing to get th elatest and greatest from Sony they know they have you all by the balls and that nothing they do wrong will bother you. I want this tech to succeed but I also want Sony to work for it a bit like MS successfully did with Xbox.
Not for nothing but all these people rushing to buy this new tech are sheep. Honestly people need to show Sony that they need to make games and guarantee they are going to stick with this VR shit. I want to see a list of 15 games before I commit to a pre order. Sony can put a piece of shit on sale and it will sell out in minutes. I have a very logical news flash for everyone. Just because its Sony made doesnt mean its going to be good. Basically all these people are telling Sony its ok to lie and shit all over us. Also are these pre orders for the OG PS4? Did everyone not read that this VR isnt going to run that great on OG PS4??? Where is this Neo? or did Sony go back to its lab with a pen and a pad now that MS gave its specs. LOL
@reduc_ab_: To you its about gaming. Im sure you have been on these sites touting power also. But he is right, Sony is the reason for all this power sh1t. So before you go blaming MS maybe take a look at your plastic god Sony.. Where you come off saying MS isnt doing anything with games is beyond me. The thing I like about MS is they are very unpredictable and out of nowhere we can have something spectacular. We all know what Sony is doing and how the games arent coming anytime soon. PS VR is going to be the biggest waste of money this upcoming year. Sony isn't prepared for this. If they released games faster then I'd say yes but 3-4yrs to release 1 game is waaay too long. Plus I can count on one hand the good exclusives from Sony so far this gen and thats not using my whole hand.
