at those prices i would import my system and games from the usa. also the 80 gig isnt worth 300 bucks ectra then the 40 gig. if i were u i would wait for them to replace the 40 gig with the 80 gig model with the same features as the 40.
wat i dont get is that sony is making most of its games only for ps3, but if they would make it for psp and ps2 also ppl would be happy and sony would get more money. i mean, so many good games r coming out for ps3 but ppl, especially ppl that dont have like $500 to just spend, wont go and buy the ps3 just cause it has these games, we have to wait for a year or more till the console goes to like $200 or so and then get it and buy only a game every once in a while. damn, i thought it was about making ur customers happy and making the most money, but i guess not.......simonov1
i could say the same thing about ps2. after two years when people paid 500-600 bucks sony still makes good games only on ps2 mostly rpgs but still a kick in the balls to us who paid big bucks for a next gen system. psp is another story because its so easy to steal games its not really worth spending money to make good games on it unless its a port of ps2/wii or other last gen systems. there is alot of games that are out these past two years for wii/ps2/ds/psp and even 360. but no ps3 version. sony needs to kill off ps2 asap imo.
ill be honest and say i wish i would have gotten a 360. last year instead of the ps3. ps3 is great and all but the 360 is getting alot more games. i find myself having trouble picking out ps3 games to put in my q at gamefly. while i see at least one a month when i click on the 360 games. its been a long year as a ps3 owner but things will be picking up this fall so u might be ok with a ps3.. only thing that stopped me from taking my ps3 back for a refund was my 1080p hdtv. crazy right?
last year i bought a ds lite at gamestop and a few hours later i returned it and they wouldnt give my money back only 30 dollar store credit... because that little 5 cent sticker wasnt perfect. csi wouldnt have found one finger print on that sucker either gamestop are rip offs.. do not buy systems from them ever!!! or games for that matter because when you buy new games they are opened and the workers could play them or they could use that disc cleaner and sell used games though they do sell used games 5 bucks cheaper then wal-marts brand new tittles. did i already say gamestop is a ripp off???
they dont want to win this gen. they want to make money or they woulda just did a 100 dollar price drop on the launch of the ps3 and wii.... ps3 would be dead right now. and the wiii would still be well behind in usa sales at least if not uk/aus nintendo would only have japan as its only tool to catch it in sales. but i guess the rrod killed all them dreams be4 they could make a move lol
dvds will soon be like vhs. this fall all new blue rays willl be 19.99 and other tittles will be 14.99. and even more families will be getting hdtvs this xmas and next tax season as hdtvs prices drop also.
most of us paid 500-600 bucks for our ps3s so we will get rid of our 250 dollar wii first lol. but nintendo already released alot of their big games so that helps even more.
wow its really hard choice. because all 3 ripp you off.
but my vote is for ps3. because its main goal is to get u into hd while the prices are still high. so you gotta go out and buy 2500 dollar 1080p sony hdtv then go out and buy a 500 dollar sony surround sound system. just to watch 30 dollar blue ray movies and then play most ur games in 720p. i`ll leave out the fact that they still make great rpgs on ps2 while ps3 owners get the none. two years deep.....
