Well, I realized a bad post I made on the Sims 2 board today concerning a method I thought had worked to make a werewolf Sim this evening. While a correction was made, I finally resolved to write down my quick cheat methods I've found over the years to make every special sim found in the Sims 2 and it's expansion packs. Since I'm working this weekend AND labor day I'm assigning myself the homework of getting this info down in a suitable FAQ and posting it on GameFAQs. I've noticed the subject of finding these creatures is a common question on the boards and at best the given info is sketchy and always follows the rules of obtaining them. Basically it's the LONG and tedious ways that are given. My two hour study (yeah I spent my two hours of gaming per week doing this) has given some very fast and some slightly faster methods of getting each of these sims. They all however require cheating; namely using the all powerful boolprop testingcheatsenabled true. So if cheating makes you queasy or uneasy, best to avoid it. If cheating is a viable method to save you hours or even days of gaming to just get one sim, then by all means look this FAQ up when it gets posted. Just to prove I'm not lying, here's the quick method to get the easiest creature sim by far:

Vampire Sim: In the lot press shift+control+c to bring up the cheat menu. If you want your vampire to live, first enter setHour 19. Next Enter boolprop testingcheatsenabled true and hit enter. Type exit to close the cheat menu if desired. Hold shift and left click the sim you want to turn to a vampire. Click More... Click Make Vampire. Instant vampire in about a minute!

After my daughter woke me up for about the sixth time last night, I finally got up at 6am and decided to get a few new Sims 2 lots uploaded to the exchange. One of which was the Landgraab tower I mentioned last time. There's still a large number of residential lots (two mansions and a retirement home particularly) I want to upload one day but will take some moving of sims in order to accomodate the upload process better. Strangely I seem to find more open time to actually get online and type messages than I do to game thanks to my little two legged two year old terror. I doubt much of anything interesting will ever find it's way on here but you never know. I mainly wanted to start this up to give heads up on some of the stuff I'm working on getting posted to my Images and Videos. I spend most of my time playing Sims 2 when I do game and lately I've actually been taking pictures and movies of many of the experiments I work on in a lab house I built. Two videos showing some of my favorite actions will be posted after this account reaches level 10. As well, following the release of Sims 2: Bon Voyage I'll try to post some pictures of all the combinations of "freak" sims that I've found so far. There's three interesting lots there including one with six plant sims running a plant farm with ability to sell all the fruits and veges in the additional business lot. If the lots continue to prove successful I'll look into uploading the multimillion producing, 10 story, Landgraab tower.
