@spectrexr1: well.....lots of places are doing this right now.....i get on origins and i see sales for Uplay games.......i get on Uplay and see games from EA........steam also sells games (or did at one point) for both of them....you bought the game on steam but still had to install origins or uplay to play the game you just bought on steam.......so we still dont truly know if its a steam running game as it could be steam selling it with the game needing windows store running to play it........will have to wait and see.....
@Moonco: kinda with you even hating steam....at least we know the games will work or steam will pull them......just have to make sure the keys for these games get sold on other sites or they do real disc copies for these games.....even if the disc is a steam install and a COA......at least the discs will go on sale as retailers will want to rid of them after a little bit of time.....
i dont want anything to do with a MS store after the live store problems and shut down.......i hate steam as well but at least the games work for the most part or they will take them down.....steam still over priced wanting their cut when lots of games can be found cheaper.....but after all these years its still running unlike the live store.....
@runstalker: everything i have seen on VR sets the break out box has its own CPU in it or some form of low level processor in it ......not all of them do the same thing.....as for the PS4 i could see them doing it as a plug in, in a expansion slot like they did the HD on old fat PS2's....it would be stupid to include it with the hardware of the console as it would be only used for VR BUT as we have seen with kinect console makers are willing to include things people dont want with their systems.....i could see why they want it in the systems case.....it means people only have one video out put to hook and dont have to change wires or use a extra input on the TV to let other people see what they are doing and it cuts out the need for a stand alone power supply for the break out box.....less wires and easier to set up....some of the VR sets are crazy with each tracking box having its own power supply and the amount of wires needed is just to much......
@TheZeroPercent: that is just it though.....i think nintendo focused on motion controlling when they could have used the tablet is other ways......it has nice buttons and sticks that could have worked for any game......and to be blunt i find the wider spacing of the controller better in my hands after a couple of hours of gaming then the controllers that keep your hand close together.....if it was my 7 inch tablet with a split 360 controller on each side it would have been heaven.....its also cool that you could play games on the screen if people are watching tv.....ether way nintendo missed the boat and this goes down like a virtual boy....
@TheZeroPercent: god and half of them sound like they would kill their mother if she brought a ONE in to a PS4 house hold......or vise versa PS4 in a one house hold......
@TheZeroPercent: oh yeah i have a extra harddrive with a full install of windows just to play pirated games.....often times i play them just to see if they are good and then buy them at some point.....but stuff like fallout 4 i got full price at retail.....
