@Rovelius: yeah but it still gives us a clue as they are PC's in some form and have been for 15 years now.......OG xbox and PS2 could both run linux.......stripped down or not they were running a PC OS.......and specs matter....the better it is the better the games could run.....can you really tell me you would not have like real 1080p at 60 frames on every game this gen???

@guitarist1980: HDR is the only thing most people should care about.......getting more colors on screen should be more of a concern then pixel count........calibrated screens always looked better.......that will never change.....

@collbanth: HDR is worth it and its something you should look for.....it gives a better over all color pallet to work with....the more colors that can be shown the better the picture can be as it gets closer to what the human eye can see......on 4k.....you dont really need the TV to be 4k BUT if we could film every thing in 4k and downscale it to 1080p for broadcasting they would never sell a 4k again......having real 4k base content can make a great 1368x768(720p) TV look better then most 1080p TV's........but sitting more then 5 feet from a true 4k 60 inch screen most people cant see it looking better VS a 1080p screen most of the time......feed the 1080p screen the same 4k content as the other TV and NO ONE will ever be able to tell without getting 2 feet from the screen........BUT almost every one said a TV no matter what it is(720p 1080p or 4k) they looked better running 4k content.....its crazy but its all true.....so to sum it up you dont need a 4k TV but it would be nice to get 4k broadcasting and HDR support on 720 and 1080p TV's......
