@NTenseify: welcome to the new world my friend.....now be smart and dont upgrade every time the red or green team takes a dump.......also dont be so fast to jump on steam and buy things with out looking for it in other places....amazon still has better prices even if you have to wait on a disc that only has a COA and steam install on it......gamedeals and a couple of other sites sell the games way cheaper but make sure you read everything as some keys may be region locked.....(you dont want to buy a code for russia).......hope you have fun with it.....
@Dav_id83: i did not even think about that......mech assault on OG XBOX would let you install linux.......i have not seen any hacks or mod chips like xecuter this gen.......but emulators are working and will let you copy discs to harddrives

@bacontophat45: unless its capped software side i think the better hardware would run it better no matter what happened.......and my first post was really about the inconsistency as the press release said a ton of games will stay 30 frames......IT SUCKS KNOWING THE BETTER HARDWARE CAN DO MORE......truth be told most of "us" just wanted 1080p at a real 60 frames even in online games.....but it may just be me on that one......
@capmike1: proving my point......sony would not have to pay copyrights to use any version of the bluray player as they made it.....i was wrong about philips working on it but i was right about paying sony for copy rights as they control the bluray group that was formed in 2002 as a way to make sure this format did better then betamax or mini discs........MS is paying to use the bluray drive in all Xboxs.....nintendo would have to so the same.....if sony was not part of the making of the players in the first place they would also have to pay these copy rights to the bluray group that you say has no bearing on this......and that was the point you jumped on me for in the first place......my point stands.....sony would not, will not and has not paid one penny in copy rights to use the bluray format.........
@crxuchilbara: thats good for you as you used their base but i still can not get stuff i have worked on and was used as other people base........i cant even get a fully edited copies from the BBC as they never put a couple of things out on DVD.........we were told originals cant be transferred out of country because of their laws with the BBC being a public tv station...on stuff they made DVD's of they sent use a case of them with at least 200 copies.....truthfully on that those i illegally downloaded i just wanted to see what they used VS what we really shot.....and the earth series i wanted to see the stuff changed for the US VS UK versions......as for the rest of it you simply can not get it here for the TV shows.....watching something like "grand designs new zealand" is just not available state side.........
this says stuff is going to have higher frame rates and then other posts say they will have the same frame rates as the older PS4.......so what one is it????
