@davillain-: native 4k rendering for games was NEVER going to happen.....i dont get this delusion it was just because people wanted to call the new system PS4k......
@fig56: if that was true then how did the S model of one get a 4k bluray player at only 300 bucks.....on top of that sony owns bluray out right and would not even have to pay the copyright to use the hardware......
@paopumilkshake: i have both and work on filming stuff for a living for groups like the BBC.....im still going to pirate......ive had to illegally download things i have worked on as they have never been released state side.....traveling the world i understand how STUPID american TV is now and will only watch stuff from other countries i cant get here legally in any form.....as for movies.....i understand the BS behind these high cost numbers and know they are LIES.....production companies over charge studios on production costs just so they can write everything off for taxes.....the people controlling the rating system are corrupt and will give NC-17 rating to movies that dont pay to play......
i cant believe they did this........so many people got first gen PS1's because they were great audiophile CD players......so many people got PS2's as they were selling for a 100 bucks less then most stand alone DVD players of the time......still know 2 people that have NEVER put a game in their PS3's as they were gotten for cheap blu ray players.....with most 4k bluray players costing 400 bucks or more they missed the boat on selling extra systems to people that would have gotten just for a player and streaming options......never mind the fact the sony TV network could have used it as a cable box.......this internet only way of thinking has to stop as a lot of this country and many others still dont have good internet to stream real 4k.......
