@computernoises: unplugging it wont do anything to change the fast boot settings......fast boot is the way windows shuts down and starts up......losing all power will not changes these things including BIOS......

the way to check it.....open settings.....go to systems tab at the top left hand corner.....click "power and sleep" half way down the list on the left hand side......under related settings click "additional power settings".....power options screen will open.....on this screen in the upper left hand side click "choose what the power buttons do".....at the bottom is a list of 4 options you can change....the first one is fast start up.........IF you uncheck it your system will no longer turn in 10 second as it will now be doing a full start up from a cold boot.....

you dont even know this option is there so i know its still on and the real reason you computer starts that fast.....you can also find out by opening task manager and then clicking the performance tab......your up timer will show many hours if not days or weeks with you not knowing this setting was there.......

this is not a minimal power state like sleep.....its a whole new way to shut down a computer......

not a bad build but i have returned a EVGA 450B PSU for under voltage(12 volt rail showed up as 10.4)......all i would do is bump up to a 600 or 750 watt so you wont have to change it in 2 years when you upgrade the GPU.......should not cost more then a extra 30 or 40 bucks......and last i would spend 20 bucks to find a coolermaster 212 CPU cooler....the 8350 runs hot with the stock cooler and the 212 still beat the wrath cooler AMD just came out with.....

@streissguth: yeah did you miss the fact your list has no price on the video card so you wont even have one if you spent that 770.69????....with a SINGLE video card this system would be 970.69.........is it a better build YES but its still at least 200 to 300 bucks MORE when you get real world about building it......and like jimmy said it does not even include a copy of windows.....

@acharis_frost: no......my system with a normal harddrive boots in about 15 seconds if i dont change win 10 power option to do a full shut down......it was put in to get laptops to start a lot faster as a true full shut down on a lappy with a 5400 RPM drive can take 2 minutes to cold start......if he gets anything from plugging in a USB port with the computer "off" he did not change the option for a full shut down.....the ONLY way he could boot that fast with a true cold start would be with a PCI-E SSD drive reading at 1500mb a second......
