Heres some advice from personal experience of this awful game... dont play it full stop! Honestly its absolute rubbish, even when i turned the graphics down to medium/low there was still lag, and even though i had done most of the basic training all i had was my rifle, and nothing else. Trust me, once you start playing it you'll probably understand why its so cr*p.

Well the scariest game I ever played was the first silent hill, i remember that scared the cr4p out of me, so im guessing the new ones will be just as scary :P

Hmm well i have v-sync off, but surely that shouldnt be the cause of it. I have AA and AF maxed out as well though.. :/

Hi, I have been running counter strike source maxed at 1360x768 res, and in the video stress test i got about 200fps which seems good. In game though it can be 120 fps then drop low to 40-50 fps in firefights, is this normal for a card like a 9600gt?

Thanks for replying, well my idle temps are about 33 degrees i think, and when i look at if after a gaming session it goes to about 39 which seems pretty good so im happy ^^ and its on a stock cooler.
