Tbh I'd recommend you get a PC with 4GB (ddr2 or ddr3), a graphics card 9800GT/4850 or better. And run the CPU past us before you order.polarwrath11Ok man, will do. well at the moment the best i have come up with is this: amd athlon x2 245 dual core @2.9ghz, 4b ddr2 ram @ 800mhz, 160gb hdd, optical dvd/rw drive, onboard graphics (*i will be buying a graphics card separately*), onboard 7.1 audio and i have my own copy of win 7. All this for £226 EXCLUDING the graphics card. What do you think? Would this setup run games like ut3 smooth with say an nvidia 9800? Thank you again, Sean

Thanks, but if i do buy one, i'll stick with QCK, i think razor products are a bit of a rip off :SI bought this a few years back, its a great mouse mat, one side is for precision the other speed

and there is space for a gel wrist rest if that takes your fancy, although I never use the one I bought for it.

Thanks, i think you'll find DDR3 RAM costs a lot more... anyway im gna take your advice and stick to DDR2 because it will save me soo much money :)
Ok cheers, but whats the advantage of ddr3?
Hi guys, hopefully if i manage to sell my ps3 i will be able to buy a computer. I have been looking on this site, www.dinopc.com but i am a little confused when it comes to the RAM. Basically, i buy a customised computer with DDR2 it will save me a lot of money than if i bought it with DDR3. Is DDR3 really worth it? I want this computer for gaming and multimedia (im not a hardcore gamer though). Also, if i buy a quad core, and fit my 9600 gt gpu in it, will i be able to run games like ut3 @ high settings with a decent frame rate? Thanks, Sean
Actually, i think i will buy that QCK mat when i have my new pc, it looks decent and im gna need it when im playing some 1.6 :P
lol thanks guys, i wnt be buying one i dont think as im saving up for new pc ^^. I might try paper, i bought this hama mouse mat and its been pretty rubbish, it gets dirty straight away :/.
Hi there, i know this is a little stupid to ask, but is there anything i could find in my house that would make a good mouse mat? I have a so called "gaming" one atm, but my mx518 just isnt smooth enough with it and theres always bits of dirt that get stuck in the mouse mat, so gaming with it is a bit of a pain. Thanks, Sean
I guess things have changed, every 1 on here used 2 go on about firefox. Maybe i shud switch 2 chrome?
