Lol what the hell? Ur telling me i need specific features for my type of gaming? I mainly play fps games, but even when i used to play rpg games it was fine. In fact a standard mouse is usually fine. Why on earth would most people want a num pad on their mouse? Isnt that where the keyboard comes in? Did u not know the mx518 was voted best mouse by PRO gamers? Hmmmmmm...

Also imo razer is a rip off with a lot of their products. For instance, why spend so much on a mouse that has say 2600 dpi when u only need around 1600 max

Not trying to brag or anything, my mouse isnt the greatest but it has buttons that enable u to switch dpi on the fly, so say your in an fps game and u switch from assault rifle to sniper and need to lower it then u just push a button on the mouse (there are 2 for higher/lower dpi). Its also not that much money, about £15 new i think. Its responsive, light and looks good, what else do u need?

Sorry, I mean to say he took out the ram and added in a new ram but its still 1gb. I was just wondering if the timings and what not might increase performance

My 9600 GT runs at 55 degrees idle without touching the fan speed. I've read that a normal idle temp can go up to about 65 degrees

Why spend so much on a mouse? The first one isnt too bad, the second one seems too expensive imo..unless your not bothered about spending that much on a mouse :). I would take a look at a wider range if i were you, logitech are decent too. I have an mx518, one of the best mouses ever made, lots of pro's use it still.

Recently got my comp back as it had 2 be fixed due to my stupidity. Anyway, more to the point, the guy added new ram into my comp, its 1gb samsung dual-channel @2000mhz with the timings of 3-3-3-8. Is that decent? My computer did have a gig of ram before, but feels slightly quicker now.

Hi, im messing around with my graphics card a little, and knowing my luck I dont wanna mess it up or anything so im gna ask a few n00b questions. First, i've cranked it up from about 30% to 45%, in order to lower the temp a bit more, but it hasnt made much difference. I was wondering because there are 2 settings, direct control and auto control in the Rivatuner settings. Im using direct control at the moment, does that mean fans will not speed up anymore? Is that unsafe? Also any suggestions whether i should leave it at default or what ever? I mean even after playing cs 1.6 i think the graphics card can heat up quite a bit, plus there is little ventilation for the pc. Sorry 4 soo many questions, answer how many u feel like lol :P.
