That controller looks hideous! Wait when your date sees it next to your TV, explain that! Yeah, to be honest, gaming should not need to be explained, it's form of entertainment where as movie, TV or even book.
I'll get Vita at some point, I just hope can get my hands on one with OLED screen. I'm used to it on my phone, anything below that sucks (3ds screen is crap).
@ivanrdz005 Yes it's way easier to listen him, but I rather look Jess instead. What about Jess on camera and Chris doing VO. Too expensive? I don't care either way, just give me teh news.
This streaming sounds pretty interesting at least in theory, but add few bucks and you can build another system for your living room. Yeah sure you get the controller and screen to play it as handheld too, but I don't do that. My 3ds is collecting dust right now, well not literally because I take care of my stuff.
G-sync, yeah if the screens that have it isn't really that much expensive than ones without it. And also depends how well and often games will be Nvidia optimized in the future now that consoles have AMD technology in them. I kind of quietly hope Nvidia will crank up PC gaming a notch and get developers behind their products and make some really nice optimized PC games and really give consoles run for their money.
@drwhoiscool Indeed, those stupid third party computer building companies are ruining the whole thing by putting out these high end overpriced setups! Completely beats the purpose what this "Steam Box" is trying to do: introduce PC gaming to console market.
What Valve should have done is made predetermined hardware specs for companies and say, you need to follow these specs and pricing will be this. It would have made hell of a lot more sense to regular customer than this cluster **** of systems now.
@JRHT The reason why I just bought the PS3 version. I'm not really interested to wait to get one year or more old games on PC, Mortal Kombat, 2 years and 2 months? Who cares about it any more? Ok, nice if you play only on PC, but still PC gamers should get their hands on these games when they are first released, this is just bullshit.
Ok I have to say, I would love to play GTA V at 60fps with proper controls (keyboard & mouse when running and shooting and controller when driving) and even that Mortal Kombat would be silky smooth 60 fps on my PC, sad it is not so smooth on PS3. But I bought Mortal Kombat like two years ago and GTA V at release obviously. If both were available for PC back then, sure I would have picked up PC versions.
Publishers should realize this, no one cares (two or three people maybe) 1-2 years late releases on PC, especially if you want to get full retail price! Two years old game on Steam 13,99€, fine, but if you want full 65€ then better starting to make day one releases.
