It looks quite a bit like Gears. Hopefully the platforming and puzzling is fun, so that it doesn't turn out TOO much like Gears.

Contact for the DS used it, IIRC.

[QUOTE="liquidus1snake"]

will you still consider Heavenly Sword a great game and worth a buy? Would you also consider Heveanly Sowrd one of the games that make improve the PS3 line-up?

I know in SW standards, HS is still a flop if it scores lower then a 9, but it didn't stop Metroid Prime 3.

No need to flame on me or anything, I'm just curious.

Panzer_Zwei

No, Heavenly Sword was hyped AA I think.

It is now-a-days, but I think the official hype thread ended at AAA before the IGN review came out.

Yeah, 8.5 is a great score and certainly a boost to the exclusive lineup.. I'd be happily surprised if it got that high of a rating though.

Honestly, I'm guessing A from GS. I think it'll get 8.0+ from everywhere else. I've got to rent it no matter what for the co-op though.

[QUOTE="itsallgood29"]I just find it sad that cows can't even admit to the faults in a game. Same is true for the lems to a degree as well but come on guys are you that immature?R-Dot-Yung

The game has issues, like how i cant find an open ranked server, stats get lost

but besides that, theres nothing wrong with the game, its perfectly balanced, a blast to play for hours, DLC in the future

This gets so annoying. It says there are open slots , but it won't let me into any of them. Funny thing is, I can get in if I join through someone on my friend's list.

[QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"]:o It works. I haven't tried it from a long distance though. I haven't figured out how to land the damn dragon though.:xSlashkice

I read that due to a lack of R2/L2 buttons on the PSP, you won't able to land the dragon. I don't have Lair, so I don't know if you can finish the game without doing so.

So this is just a handicapped experiment... I just hope other developers give it a try too, maybe adding a "PSP" control scheme or something.

[QUOTE="sneekite"]So does anyone know for sure that Lair can be played over an internet connection? It's obviously been confirmed to be done wirelessly within range of the PS3, but I haven't seen anyone confirm over-the-internet play.Wahoo2k

has it been confirmed to be done wirelessly? that picture looks like it's plugged in, or is that just the power cable?

That's the power cable.

[QUOTE="-Spock-"][QUOTE="manningbowl135"]Um...I think PS3 has to be connected to the PSP when playing. So unless you carry your PS3 with a generator when you go to work/school, no MGS4 on the go. Flexmaster_365

You can do it all wirelessly, just as long as you're within a wi-fi hotspot. This is pretty much the same technology as the Location Free television transmitters for PSP and MP4 players.

Well TV is different because broadcasts are all over the place. To play Lair you have to access your PS3, and I doubt it would be fast enough to play it from some place else besides your house, because the connection would have to travel too far making it unplayable, if even possible to be accessed.

Yeah, this is why I was asking if anyone's confirmed wi-fi play yet. Music and videos work just fine over remote play, but that's because you don't have to control in real time or worry about delay.
