It's the cheapeast console of the 8th gen (seriously, only U$120 on Amazon right now) and it's filled with great games. 120 bucks is the price of two launch games. For a whole platform. if you're into gaming, there's no reason to not have one.

@HIT3kNology So, obviously Valve is paying Gamespot to make this review, right? Now, let me ask you a question: why do you read a website if you believe it's content to be distorted by bribery and dishonesty?

@Ahiru-San Servers like that usually have a tag identifying them ("idle") you just put that tag on the "ignore server with these terms" (don't recall de exact name) camp and be done with it! No more "afk", "idle", "achievements" or "trade" servers. There are plenty of great servers around. For an instance, I not only filter those I mentioned, but also any server with instant respawns and still always find good servers to play. If the game provides you tools to improve your experience, use them. ;)

@hitomo I've been playing this game for at least five years, haven't spent a dime on it (except for the original, Steam promo, price, since I got it before it went free to play) and still had more than 300 hours of fun.

@bdous If the game has changed and/or stayed relevant, why not?

@Mudpooch I disagree. This ain't a "below par game", it's the best multiplayer-focused shooter ever made. But I realize that's only my opinion, not a "fact", do you realize the same about yours?

@acanofcoke Actually, SNES wasn't as successful as our memory likes to claim. It had a tough time againd Genesis. It was a great console, sure, and I loved it, but, relatively to their time, Wii, DS, Gameboy and NES were bigger success, and none of those four were "powerhouses" in the processor and graphics department. ;)

@road_rage_april @RobDev You just proved his point: one failure didn't stop them, another one won't also. And believe me, Virtual Boy crashed WAY harder than Wii U. ^_^
