Gritty games with guns tend to sell well - I think there must be a bit of impulse buying going on: when in doubt, buy a game with guns and cars in it...

@mjorh: It may indicate buyer fatigue - there's just too much going on, and CoD doesn't stand-out as a premier shooter like it used to.

@Juub1990: Because they're no such thing as a gaming PC. No two PCs are alike, so why don't you clarify what you mean? On the other hand, a real platform like PS4/Wii U/Xbox1 have set, defined parameters that the word platform requires.

The reviewer is literally crying about the game being too hard. How is this a good review?

Literally?

They make far too much non-gaming products to be considered a gaming anything. You might make an argument that PlayStation is the best gaming "brand"...

A soap opera with sprinklings of refined gameplay from its 3 prequels.

@demi0227_basic: It's free because it's bad press to charge for a game twice, and the blowback on trying something like that would harm the publisher's reputation more than it would bring in... Also, creating awareness of the ES series by re-releasing a game can only attract more players at a relatively low cost to the publisher.

The game never had a significant loyal audience anyhow - this was their attempt to re-attract a subset of the fickle competitive FPS crowd, and I suppose it failed.

People only tolerate a lack of content for so long. They pushed the envelope here, and Battlefront recently was on the edge of this too.

You couldn't have chosen two more timeless games series than these two...
