We can't hold sarge!

Incoming!

By the language of those lines, I'm trying hint from a game which I'm getting next week. Okey, so it's a war game, but which one? Also, it's on PC. I'll leave the guessing for you!

Okay, the weekend's about over now. What a shame. I really hate Mondays when I have to go back to school. So depressing. Extremely.

For this weekend I mostly played Paper Mario and Fire Emblem, as well as tried out a load of demos of strategy games on PC. So it was mostly gaming.

Right, I guess I should play a bit and then think about sleeping.

Forward!

Fiery enchantments.

New addition!

Oh yeah. My collection grown with a GC title called Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance! I'm eager to try this out this very night, right after I have made myself a dinner and visited to grocery store for entertaining supplies. Mwahahah!

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance for GC

Okay, I had a lenghty day at school, and I just got home a few minutes ago and it's almost 6PM. That's not neat.

It's weekend. I'm so relieved. I want to sleep and game. That's what I want. That's what I will do! :D

Rite. This dude's out for a second.

Form a line!

The new game!

So, the title I got today is...

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for GC!
And yup, that is a game that has been missing my collection for far too long. Although I have lots of maths to do this evening so I see how much I am able to play it today.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for GC

I'm also getting another game tomorrow probably, I'll give you some hints. It's also for GC, and it's partly of the same genre as this Paper Mario. Okey, give your guess! :D

Other than that, I have little to say. I gotta make myself a dinner and do some laundry. So...

...Wham!

EDIT:
It seems that I'm also on level 23 now. Yay me!

This and 'tat.

Mainly schoolies.

Yeah, I haven't done much stuff lately, just school-related mehhing around. I had some programming today which was a bit miserable lecture, since I just hate pointers. Those who have coded probably know what I'm talking about.

Anyways, I should get a new game tomorrow by mail. Something that has been missing my collection for too long. By listening to rumours, it's one of the best games of the console, so I let you try and guess what the game might be.

I've been spending this evening by drinking tea and installing Linux on one of my scrap computers. I'm just to get myself familiar with the Linux -type of operating system. At least it's free, although it's not an alternative for gamers.

I also got a new cooler for my desktop computer's CPU. The old one had gone bad and it kept a slight grinding noise all the time and it about pissed me off. The new one's quiet, and I can compute in peace once again.

Okie, off I go.

Fall back!

Jackpot!

Good for Wii!

Did you read the review of WarioWare Smooth Moves for Wii? It got 9.1 and it is so far the best scored Wii game there is. Terrific! Also, the game is the first Editor's choice for this year. That rocks. :)

Read the review here.

This is amazing. Truly amazing. My heart is panting. Also, this game is not even full-priced. It costs 49 euros as new here in Finland, which means that it's 10 euros cheaper than the other games, maybe even 15 euros.

But that's about that. I gotta wake up now.

Roar!

Waving birds, lil' buddy!

Let me explain the idea briefly.

First, I got myself a Nintendo Wavebird, and now it raised my urge to play GameCube -games with my Wii to power ten! Oh right, it feels very nice and it's lightweight even with batteries. That's very good I'd say.

Also, I bought myself a whole season license for Sam & Max Season 1. I already played through the first two episodes, and now I will have to wait a couple of weeks for the third episode to be published. I can hardly wait.

My back tire from my bicycle literately banged this morning. I was riding my bicycle in a downhill, and then it banged. I flought with my bike a nice few rounds and got a nasty blow in my side. Tough luck. The reason for this was that the outer tire of the back tire had gotten a bit loose from one point, and it raised a big bump into the side of it. The bump hit one certain piece of the bike body constantly, and I couldn't stop my bike before it was a bit too late.

But it'll go fine from this.

"I want my money back!"

Freelance police - a lenghty bloggy!

It's time for a new rumble.

Oh yeah. This is wild. I hate it when I have to force myself to stay up, just to reverse my sleeping rhythm. So, I was up for 28 hours and went to sleep at 7PM. Then I woke up t 4:30AM and couldn't get any more sleep and felt as refreshed as one can bee. Well, I'll use these morning hours for good and play games and surf the web.

Okay, so what else? Well, I bumped into something really fantastic and absolutely gorgeous. Even fabulously splendid, I'd say. Okay okay, enough of hype. The thing I bumped into this time are the new Sam & Max episode -games made by Telltale Games. Some old geezers like me might think that "it's just another great concept ruined", but I do have to disagree. The original author of the comics, Steve Purcell, is along with the crew of Telltale Games. And as a sugar on the top, the crew of Telltale games consist of people who were working on the cancelled Sam & Max: Freelance Police. Too bad LucasArts cancelled it, I enjoyed the trailer I saw of it. How idiotic.

Here's the trailer of the cancelled Freelance Police, and it has the original voice actors from the first game!

But let's talk about these new ones then, shall we?

Anyways, talking about these new episodes. Well, I love the graphics, they are cartoonish but still 3D. You can't hate them. Also, the aspect that almost made me cry, is, that the game is controlled with a mouse! A point 'n click -adventure game today is rarer than chickens with devil claws and pink bonnets.

The walking animation of Sam looked a bit awkward at first, but I got used to it. There's only one thing that disappointed me, which of course is the lack of the original voice actors from the first game Sam & Max Hit the Road (1993). But these new ones are not bad either, those originals were just diamonds.

Well, what can I say? I was stunned by this product, and I just had to order the whole season. The season costs 35 bucks, and it has all those 6 episodes. After the whole season is published, you can even get a disc version of all of the games with the price of postage (Extra stuff might come along). 2 of the episodes have been released, and the rest of them are being published one in a month.

I shall present the interested ones with a jolly good link: http://www.telltalegames.com/samandmax/

Try out the demos. You should like 'em.

You crack me up lil' buddy.

Coming to an end.

Just referring to the end of holidays.

Everything good does not last forever. So it comes with the holidays at least. But still I had a goodie holiday. I got nice presents and saw my family for a long time, and I spent lots of time with my grilfriend. Also I managed to play some games.

The Longest Journey seems to be a nice adventure game. I like the style it has, you know, 3D world but you still control everything with the mouse. I just love these point 'n click -games.

Also I've been whacking Civilization 3 quite much and it is as charming as it was before. I also dug up my Clubhouse games and tried it online. It's quite fun, it has a ranking list and all. I like to play the card game "Sevens". I'm ranked about 129/2706 at the moment. Going up!

That's about it.

Byea!

Wheel of time.

It has turned once again.

Oh yeah, it's year 2007. I didn't celebrate the change of the year that much, I just played some games with my brother-in-law and sat home. I just didn't have any urge for partying this time.

Anyways, a few days back I travelled to a nearby city and bought a big pile of good-looking clothes. So I spent a nice amount of money as well. Also, I bought a few games from bargain bins, and those are:

Age of Empires Collector's Edition
Civilization III Complete
Heroes of Might & Magic III+IV Complete
The Longest Journey

All of those are naturally PC games. They're good games, even though they are old, they still hold a great playing value. They didn't cost that much.

I'm off now. I need some other things to do now.

Cheerio.

Back to normal!

The most of the Christmas is behind.

Yup, it is, as far as I can tell. But anyways, it was a good Christmas. Lots of laughs.

I think my girlfriend really loved that present which I got her this Christmas. That was Dragon Quest: The Journey of the Cursed King. She's so addicted to that game at the moment that all I can do is smile and be proud! :D

What else? Well... I haven't really played much lately since I only have my Wii with me here in my hometown and I have pretty much played through all those games I have on the console. Anyways, I managed to get a whopping high score for bowling, which is 286. That means I got 10 strikes in a row! :D

I think I'm gonna some nifty 'n new PC game for me for the rest of the holidays, and I'm also going to have some good time with my family and my girl, since now I have the possibility for that.

I hope you all have good time during these holidays!

Strike!
