@kriggy Oh sorry, my bad. It actually has a life span of 14 years. Since it was discontinued in 2009. And don't you tell me that 2009 does not count because the PS2 was out in 2000. if you are a businessperson would you waste your money producing something that no one is going to buy?
I do not completely blame the shifting of devs to other platform on the long life span of a console. The shifting could be that they found handheld devices are better for mini games that could be played on the fly. It could also due to low budget. Just take the original Playstation for example. It has a life span of 11 years (may be a little more or less than that). Let's face it, a next gen-console offers nothing more than gigs upgrade. What make great games is new ideas from the developers. Not until when they have thought of something really unique that actually affect the gameplay, they don't need a next-gen if it's simply for a graphic upgrade.
I don't see how the contents of this article match the tittle. They say that action-adventure genre is entering the renaissance period and yet they did not explain why. But instead, doing a PR for this Splinter Cell game.
If they are bounded to not make a remake for 7, then make a remake for 8 or 9. And by the way how do they attempt to top the nostalgic feeling of 7, really?
What all this fuss about then? Firstly, before being a pro-player he is but a normal person so it is normal for him to set his health as first priority. Secondly, this game has 3 races. And if he is comfortable with one over the other then it is his right to choose which one to main.
