I don't know how would they maintain their company operational then. But one thing for certain: companies need money to run. So, if anything, I believe that this news means there are certainly some very nasty milking on the way. Maybe way worse than the current system.

However, on the bright side, since it's initially free and the milking comes later, I guess I would just drop the game when it starts to get nasty.

That idea of connecting games like this is very innovative in my opinion. Too bad that it doesn't come to the PC. I don't know why. But they have already given it for free in the console, right?Otherwise this could be the game to be remembered and gives birth to a whole new genre.

@NDE95 It would be dumb then \ ( '3' ) /

Why make a game that can not be run on the computers other than those of the developers? Are they not planning to sell the game to the outside world?

What's this? This is more likely Dante in Crysis suit than anything that represents the name Metal Gear. If they love to fool around with some cyber punk, they should have created a brand new franchise rather than rely on the shadow of past success to make it sells. Damn, it seem that these guys are doing their best to ruin the image of one the most iconic series in the history of gaming.

I don't know what is this all brawl and no brain Rambo style shooting. But on no way this is the tactical and elegant Crysis that I once know. If this demo actually represents the game itself then I would say that it is an enormous disappointment. And certainly, I would not support this abomination!

@Elann2008 It's not boring because I've played it for many hours straight. It's because when I played this game it feels like that anything I go in this game, I have done it somewhere else. There is barely any new element in this game.

Actually, I got bored of this game 2 hours after playing it. After that, I spent another 10 hours to see whether I can find anything that I can enjoy. But that didn't happen. And so, 4 days after buying it, I sold it to one of my friends.

Ah, a Blizzard's game that is rated below 9. Really, had it been me, I would have given this game a 6 for being boring, that always on internet connection stuff and especially, that milking auction house. And for your part, Gamespot, you're really smart for waiting for awhile, listening, testing the water before giving the review. I've not yet forgotten what you did when Starcraft 2 went on sales.
