@Tiwill44: You have a penchant for platformers and a lot of your best games are from that decade old era. No problem with that btw, especially considering I've only played a bit of Witcher 3 and am looking to add it to my PS4 collection rather than PC. But you probably wouldn't like a game like that because your tastes are different.
That's still a very good gross but the issue is, Spielberg's name doesn't hold the weight it once did and the BFG already has a classic animation which parents can buy for the kids for a lot cheaper than a cinema ticket. The older audience, especially someone like me (mid 20s) just wouldn't go watch it.
@Itzsfo0: I'm not saying new is always better but the title of this article is all the new things...a lot these are not new to Zelda. That was my point.
As for what's better, some of if not most, of the greatest games of the last 15 years have been made in the US or Europe. That's just a fact. You can like or dislike that. Japanese gaming is now known for unfinished games such as MGS V or cash grabs as the Street Fighter series which can't even put out a simple product any more.
I'm not saying other gaming territories aren't doing the same, because they are but Japan is doing it on a much larger, more cynical scale which is far more detrimental to gaming.
A lot of this stuff isn't really new and the requirement of amiibos for something that should be included in the game anyway? Oh Japanese gaming, you have fallen so fast and so far.
Dunno why all the hate, I like it. SS from the very beginning has had a specific direction and look, which makes it far less confused than BvS and MoS in that regard. The only problem if the black woman on the left, should've put in another villain rather than some random political character.
@dylan35: Not really, I hold Halo 2 has one of my all time fave FPS. It literally brought the fluidity, multiplayer and scope of a PC FPS to a console and put what Sony had at the time to shame. The reality is, since then, it's been a drop in quality and I don't believe Halo is the gaming buzzword it used to be. People used to be all "well such and such could be a HALO KILLER"....now no one gives a crap because there are at least 2 or 3 FPS released every year that have been better than Halo 4-5.
