@n64dd: White privilege is not racism and it's not made up. However, claiming every white person is privileged is obviously an issue but intelligent people using that term do not define it as such, so what is your point?

I wan the the xbox fans to list every scheduled AAA exclusive for their console and lets compare it to the PS4
Yeah I hardly follow the story tbh. The handful of games I've followed the story to:
MGS series
FO3
ME2/3
LA Noire
Dishonoured (playing it currently)
And only a few others
Just to drive home the point -
The PS4 has 62 million plus lifetime sales
The XB1 has less than half that, with month on month sales for the PS4 not only higher, it's also being outsold by the Switch.
The One X is only a tiny fraction of those sales, so I ask again, why the One X comparison? Most XB owners own a One, so thats what they will play their games on...if there are any games to play.
Why has this become a discussion about the One X? Yes its the most powerful console going but still lacks the exclusives....AND only a tiny proportion of gamers own it, so why would I compare a PS4 (not even talking about thE Pro) to the One X?
Go buy your One X...the best game on it would still be a 15 year old Halo 2 lol
For people that like to play on PC, there probably is not a lot of reason to own a Xbox, but for anybody that hates playing games on PC and prefers to play on a console (and there are millions of people that feel that way), there are many reasons to own a Xbox. It is the best console for multiplats, it is the best entertainment hub, it offers free backwards compatibility instead of charging you to rent the games like on PS4, it has the best online service, and it has actual fun games with gameplay like Cuphead, Forza, and PUBG which can't be played on any other console.
You ask if there are any games left to play on Xbox, one can ask the same thing about the PS4. Does the PS4 still have games with a focus on gameplay or is mostly just about movie "games" now? I can tell you that over the past few months, I've had a lot of fun playing Forza and Cuphead, and I know that I'm going to have even more fun in a few days once PUBG gets released because these are actual fun games with gameplay. Meanwhile, I haven't really touched my PS4 since Crash Bandicoot was released 6 months ago and my PS4 is just gathering dust until a new game (not one of those movie "games" that Cows love to watch, but a real game with a focus on gameplay) gets released that isn't some niche JRPG.
I can understand the bc argument, fair enough but "best console for multiplats"??? Lol how the hell do you type that with a serious face. The PS4 is a better console and games often look better on it, run better on it and overall function better. Its not a huge difference but my point is the One is nowhere near the best for multiplats lol
I think Switch has overtaken it if people want a second console.
@no_bo_dy_83: Yes but why would I need bc when I have a fully functioning 360? I mean I dont play it much and have sold most of the games but if I have a craving for Halo 3, I'll just play it on my 360.
Largest library of games hahahaha
I mean, what is the point in owning an XBX this gen? It doesnt have many exclusives and the ones it does are probably the worst in their respective series (Halo and Gears). Forza has done well but I dont like what I'm hearing about the microtransaction model.
So, is there anything in the pipeline? Any announcements incoming? Or is the console useless if one has a PS4 or even a PC ?
Well, I bought the GOTY edition (huge content for the amount of money, hats off to CDR) BUT I have a major gripe. I havent played the game for a few months and thats mainly due to being an adult and not having time to delve into it...however, it just is not accessible if you have been away for a while and there is far too much emphasis on collecting items to create potions which make killing certain enemies workable. For an action rpg there is too much back tracking and scavenging. I'd understand if this was a 90s JRPG and you had to do some of this but there needs to be more emphasis on the action elements.
Plus, the action controls just arent that good. However, the story, characters and choices and engaging and I still remember the joy of seeing my decisions in the Red Baron quest coming through bit by bit. Exceptional stuff, exceptional game but lacks great controls and thus doesnt quite reach greatness. Has any game this gen? BOTW didnt for me, I havent played Horizon, from what I played of UC4 it didnt either. MGSV was a massive let down and FO4 was good but far too repetitive. I'm trying to think of something else.
