@Chutebox: The battery only lasting 2-3 hours for more demanding games hurts the mobile aspect of it though.

It almost kills off the mobile aspect for proper games. Very bad for a so called home/move hybrid.

Ok, so my worries/problems with all the info released thus far:

Only 2 worthwhile games at launch, the rest are essentially mobile gaming worthy.

£279.99 in the UK according to GAME.

Games themselves cost £59.99, a minimum of £10 more expensive than standard versions of games on PS4/XB1.

Looking at the rest of the possible line up through 2017, most games look like what you'd find on your average mobile or tablet. AAA where art thou?

2.5 to 6 hours of battery life. Nintendo claim it will be at the lower end for higher end games, so the idea of playing Mario and Zelda on the go isn't great.

The controllers are supposedly a bit flimsy.

Things that sound good:

The grip comes with a standard console. Good!

Multiplayer across consoles but some games may use a single, split screen. Interesting at least.

Erm...

@soul_starter: whats the confirmed price for the games??

Anyway lots of interesting games, besides Zelda I am mostly looking forward to dragon quest 10/11... but yeah no way I am paying double price for it, just because I live in Denmark!! So probably won't get it before I am in the U.K. Next... going to Prague in may, so will maybe get it there

59.99 in the UK

Games will be priced as normal, $59.99 in USD, how much in your funny money I'm not sure :)

On GAME they are being billed at £59.99, so we're actually paying more over here. Thats a problem. Oh and seeing as normal versions of games on a PS4/XB1 are just cheaper, like 10 pounds if not more. On top of that, I just looked up deluxe versions of For HOnour and a steelbook version of Resi 7 and both are cheaper than £60.

Has Nintendo lost the plot? Didn't N64 games cost more back in the day too?

Only 2 launch games worth talking about, although the new Zelda, much like the rest of Nintendo is 2 gens behind in terms of open world design and content.

The price for these games is the issue. Nintendo games will be the most expensive games on the market by some distance come release.

the graphics for the non Mario style characters (humans) looks terrible but I always look forward to the next mainstream Mario game and its been a long time coming.

out of those I picked world at war because I loved the setting and the up close and personal combat was awesome at times but the best cod is still either mw2 or mw1. Infinite Warfare is a blast too actually.

are you using some sort of frame rate counter while you play? or have you just read too much about frame rate drops on forums etc?

if you don't fill your mind with that useless junk, you wont notice it. In fact, I didnt even know FO4 has fr issues until months after buying the game and readin rubbish on the internet. I havent really noticed it, even during the big castle battle with lots of enemies on screen.

My biggest issue with the game is that after playing through a lot of it, I got so bored I havent gotten around to finishing it lol

I never had major problems on GTA Online back on the PS3 outside of the launch window. That was effd up. Most of us couldn't even get past the intro lol But a month latert hey patched it up, gave away some free stuff and it worked well throughout. Had plenty of big shootouts, some involved heavy machinery and so on. Maybe the PS4 verison is as well optimised?

The guy said low spec pc not something from the last century lol

I had a low/medium spec pc before my current gaming pc and I got Assassins Creed 3 to work on it really well. I dunno what your specs are like but have a look, it should be bale to run a game like that. Most modern (last 6-7 years) PCs can.
