The title says it all and I'm going to get started straight away:

No. 20 Mass Effect 3 (PS3/XB360/PC)

I looked forward to this series finale almost as much as I had looked forward to GTA V or MGS V. Mass Effect 3 ended up feeling a lot more like the latter than the former. Why? Well, it had all the required mechanics, the pieces were there but it lacked the heart and tight scripting of the series high point Mass Effect 2.

Having said that, it is still one of the best sci-fi RPGs ever made, plus it has a tight action system and a very clever use of weapon and ability upgrades which extend the action better than Mass Effect 2. The environments are just as intriguing and for about the first 10 hours or so, it really does feel as if the Galaxy is relying on you. If only the segments on Earth were better and there was increased emphasis on building your squad like the predecessor.

The positives still far out weigh the negatives and it edges out The Witcher 2 to start this list off.

Spoilers!

Just had to make some serious decisions, which resulted in me going up against The Institute (run by my son) and then I killed by favourite companion, had Piper turn against me, had to battle the whole of Diamond City and then had a battle with the Institute at the castle which has almost robbed me of all my main ammo.

I just realised I could have thrown a beacon and gotten help from the Brotherhood....ffs! Lol

Gotta be KZ2. It still looks great, had a fun multiplayer and a truly rousing single player campaign, which really surprised me after the, let's be honest, very boring original.

I liked 3 too but it felt a lot like a retread with the addition of jetpacks. I never played the PS4 one and don't think I will.

NFS Underground 2 just took the reinvention of the original to a whole new level and in the process popularised the sub genre of street racing and made it explode in the early part of the new century.

The worst...I really dunno, I stopped playing around the Pro-Street and Undercover era as the series had gone in a shitty direction. So probably those two.

@Lulekani: I don't get how you can say that when it gives you the run down of the basic control scheme, which is pretty different from other MGS games so was a great learning experience for me. What confused you?

@Lulekani: It was definitely great to play through, for me anyway. Maybe it;'s because this is the first MGS game you played, you probably didn't like the tone and pace. The rest of the game is very un-MGS but that tutorial was good start, gave you the basic controls, some of which were new even to me and introduced the story.

Like some people have already said, it all depends on how they are implemented. I used to hate the tutorials in the old Rainbow Six games, really boring. But there are some games which implement tutorials as part of the opening segment and give you some button cues and situations which require you to use your main set of controls...so it's all part of the gameplay experience.

I'm not the biggest fan of MGS V but it's opening level is a great gaming tutorial.

AAA horror games are very rare now but the genre is still pretty decent if you want to download indie games.

I feel the peak of the genre was the late 90s and early 00s. Resi 4, an absolutely great game, was also the death knell for horror games.

A lot of people on here saying it's impossible but it isn't. There are physical copies of games available all around the world, you just need the time, know-how and finances to buy them all.

So no, it's not impossible, it is however, improbable.
