[QUOTE="Thetaguru"]Playing the demo for a loooooong time in a hot room can tho. I played it like for one and a half hour and the room is hot, maybe that's the cause. It's just a coincidence, the demo can not make your PS3 louder.

I'm not joking, after playing it the fan gets louder and even if i quit it you can hear it sounds louder but when using lost planet 2 demo my PS3 fan gets louder and if i quit it and wait some minutes the fan slow down and stop sounding louder. It's just a coincidence, the demo can not make your PS3 louder.

The system could have overheated and shut itself down until it had time to cool down. You may want to make sure the PS3 has plenty of space for air to flow through the system freely. It needs space in the front and rear along with the sides. I found that by haveing my system standing vertical it tends to run slightly cooler. The nice thing is the PS3 doesn't need any kind of stand.jimm895Yeah it could have overheated but when a system overheat it should make bleep sound twice, mines didn't make that sound and the red light turned off instead of taying red and every time i was trying to turn it one the red light was going off.
Yesterday wile playing my PS3 shut down by itself, it didn't make a beep sound and even the red light turn off. After that i tought it was a problem with the power outlet so i tried a different one and to my surprise it wasn't the outlet something is wrong with my PS3, every time i'd tried to turn it on the red light was turning off instead of changing to green and when it did finally turn on it didn't read a game i put. For the rest of the day it'd continued like that, almost every time i was trying to turn it on the red light was turning off and the system wasn't turning on.
Now today it's working but i don't know if i should trade it in at GameStop and pay 149.99 for a Slim or if i should send it to Sony. The worst part is that i did already sent it to Sony for a disc slot issue and they sent it back to me repair but with a lot of minor scratches and sounding a bit louder and now in three month it is giving me these problems.
My first PS3 was a 40GB and the touch panel stop working, i sent it to Sony, they sent me a refurbished all scratch and was frezzing a lot so i sold it and got a 80GB without BC and with Dualshock 3. I think the touch panel got damaged by electrical problems we were having in the area i live at that time.
What do you think is the better choice?
I've been using the PS3 controller but will be getting a Arcade Stick, for me is somewhat difficult to play Marvel vs Capcom with a regular controller.
can't help you, i though the game was Garbage so i didnt keep it for more then 3 days, i do know a way to tell your ranking was a number i think, and some kind of titles you get from awards.JavieralijandroFirst i want to tell you that SFIV don't suck, only a person that don't like fighting games or didn't spent a a lot of time playing it should said this. It looks like you don't like arcade style fighting games, you seems more like a casual fighting player.
Can someone tell me if these sticks since are using USB cables can be compatible with future consoles?
[QUOTE="satori"]It doesn't get much better than Littlebigplanet. Yeah it doesn't get better than LittleBigPlanet, that's the appearance of the game until you get to the later levels. I can't imagine a 5 years old creating a stage, i have the game since last years and i have not even created a full stage. Thanks for checking this thread out. I'm trying to find out a good game for a 5 year old who'll be 6 in two months. We already have Rub-a-Dub so I'm hoping there is some other game out there for him. Something somewhat simple in terms of reflexes as he doesn't really have gaming skills yet. platform jumpers may not be the best for him as I think they'd just frustrate him. Is there any kind of kids racing game that does not require a great deal of skill, but is still fun?
Thanks again for your suggestions
