Wow i guess i have bad luck, my 80GB began to gave me problems, now i bought a Slim and in days it beging to give me problems. I'm gonna have problems returning it cause i bought it at GameStop and they are gonna ask for proof.

I feel ya if i didnt have bad luck id have no luck at all most of the time !!! But Sony makes very good quality stuff i have tons of Sony electronics and they normally seem to last a long time . Think like me you just got a bad one everything can break but just swap it if you can i dont think youll have that kinda luck twice . My 40GB fatty still works like new never had any problems with it .

Do you think GameStop are supposed to swap it.

I need the help of Slim owners befor my 30 days warranty end, today i was gonna wath a BlueRay movie and to my surprise before the movie started the screen changed to all green for some seconds then when i selected quit it change to all pink for some seconds. It wasn't doing this before and now almosteverytime before a movie start i receive a green or pink screen at random and after quiting it the same.

I think this is not normal cause the 80GB PS3 i had didin't do this. please help me.

Probably not and it would void Your warranty. If twisting does'nt work, try something like taking a small piece of tape and folding it over til its thick enough to compensate the wobble, and tape it to one of the feet on the bottom of the ps3.freekninjinc
Hey were i have it right now is not very flat and i have found a right spot to put it, now it doesn't wobble even a little bit. I found than you can take out the rubber pads of the Slim out and under them they have a screws, maybe one of them needs to be loosen.

[QUOTE="soulreaper-4"][QUOTE="freekninjinc"]The physical case, like give it a bit of a twist to get the bottom to lie flat and even. The plastic could be slightly misaligned/warped by the top and bottom halves of the case not having been when the were assembled together with screws,so a little twisting of the ps3 may straighten it out.And operating it with it wobbly should be fine as long as You dont tip it back and forth all the time-even then You might only get slightly slower loading times from the disc drive wobbling and making it hard to read the disc.KapG

So this little movement won't affect my console, Can this be corrected by opening it?

What I can assure you will happen if you open your case is that you will void your warrenty.

Try and take it back to gamespot and see if they will change it for you. Just make a big fuss about it in person if they give you a hard time.

***king GameStop i called them and the manager told me: use a piece of rubber to make it tay more firm. Accoding to this manager this is not covert by the 30 days warranty. I think this is the las console i will buy at GameStop even if it is a very little problem. The worst part, i can't make a big fuss cause i know the manager.

Sorry to ask you but what do you mean by bend and what does warped means.
