i just checked, i still have 40 gb available...i think most of yall that use it up download a lot of demos and dont delete the ones you dont play anymore.

No what's killing the HDD space are game installation. Having a lot of games that required installation is a drag.

i have 14 games...thats more than the average ps3 owner since each game costs 60 bucks.

And i have 9 and 14 the ones from my brother. But7 require installation to accelerate the loading times and two of them take 5GB and are mandatory plus all the Rock band downloadablecontent.

Might as well upgrade IMO, considering you can get 500g HDD for less the $80.

how do you check how much space you have left on your hard drive? i have about 14 ps3 games, one of them being rock band with A LOT of DLC songs, im talking between 150-200, and as far as i know, i still have plenty of space.

You need to go to system settings then select system information.

You could easily delete the game data when you've finished them. If you did that, an upgrade wouldn't be necessary.Floppy_Jim

That's the problems, imagine each time i want to play Metal Gear Solid 4 waiting like 20 minutes of installation, 30 minutes for Devil May Cry. And when playing games like Street fighter having to wait long loading times if there's no intall data.

I think i'm running out of pace i already have 49GB but i have three games that require 3GB or more of pace plus to that require 5GB. And i'll be getting some DLC games and Add-ons. I think it would be best to upgrade. What do guys think?

Take a small, very small bottle of super glue and cover the button, after it dries, i think i will be a little stiffer.da_chub
The b button loose and somewhat annoying to press but it isn't broke.
