[QUOTE="Fightingfan"]If you think SSFIVAE only has 4 characters and that's the only changes don't bother buying the game I'd say it's only for elitist. They nerfed my Guile WTF Capcom..

I know they made some changes to balance characters. But it's nothing like going from standard to super that changed the intro, scenes, backgrounds, added modes, like 8 characters, new stages, new ultras, new online modes and so on.

I'm interesting in getting Arcade Edition but i am not sure what to do. If you want to take the game to a friend house etc i wont be able to play arcade edition with the DLC, just super. On the other hand i'd already bought SFIV and SSFIV. I don't want to continue paying for the same game, i did for SSFIV because i bought for $20 and had many changes but this time it is basically four new characters.

Anyone here knows how much trade-in value GameStop is giving for SFIV and SSFIV? Can it be at least $20?

[QUOTE="soulreaper-4"][QUOTE="AutoPilotOn"]Well considering we already have a NES game (even though its remade) thats a pretty good sign there will be more of those at least.AutoPilotOn
Eh? People these days don't use their head. The Wii is the consoles has NES, SNES, N64 games. The 3DS is a portable and it will get the retro portable games; GB, GBC,GBA.

excite bike is a NES game.....

Yeah i forgot that but they are more focused on portable. Maybe the other systems games will be from other companies like the GameGear.

No, they said there will be 3D Classics, which will be NES games (and possibly moving to other systems in the future) remade in 3D and the Virtual Console which is GB and GBC games, in the standard form.

Those other system can be portables from other companies like the GameGear.

Some of you are calling it cheap hardware but if it's producing less heat and power, then thats a good thing?

Dahaka-UK
Many people get the notion that hardware keeps getting more affordable just because it is now upgraded. Yes they produce less heat but they receive cheaper parts too.

As much as I like Smash Bros, I probably won't get it on the 3DS. I like Smash Bros the most for local multiplayer, and that isn't really possible on the 3DS.

And people are forgetting how you need to activate the smash attack. Smashing the circle pad won't do any good to your system, it will cause many circle pads to broke.

If you're "Smashing" your analoug sticks, than your doing it wrong :? You can smash without damaging a controller

Oh brother! Please people i am not stupid i now how the game is played. I've been playing Smash Bros. since the original, the game require some fast movements to do the smash attacks. As for the need to just press the b on the Wii remote, that's a way to play for newbies and won't give you the same experience.

im an older gamer, i own a ps3 and 360. since ive got the 3DS ive remembered one thing about games..... the fun factor..... ive been playing DS games like zelda and new super mario + 3DSstreetfighter 4........ it's the most fun ive had with games for a long time....

sydstoner
Almost the same here. I own a PS3, Wii and a 3DS and have noticed the same. Many of today's games have awesome HD graphics effects and sounds but at the same time can't match the fun factor of older games. Some people think it is nostalgia but it isn't.

People are so ignorant noadays. M doesn't actually means a game is mature, just for having lots of blood a game receive an M rating.

If, and that's a big IF they feel pressure approaching PS Vita launch, maybe they'll cut $20, maybe $30 off the price. The DS had a price drop roughly 1 year after release in preparation for the first console revision

But I think its more likely they will stay at $249, maybe bundle like Pilotwings with it, but more than likely just introduce Pink and Red colors this fall and let all the awesome games they are releasing carry them through the holidays where I expect its sales to pick up very good.

Maybe a $20-$50 price drop in Spring 2012, but that's the earliest I'd expect it.

At first after hearing the price of the PSVita i thought Nintendo were ripping people off but not anymore. Nintendo is selling the 3DS like a normal company earning money and now has been revealed that Sony is using the same method they used with the PS3; they will sell each unit at a loss and expect to earn something after 3 years.Selling like Sony is a risk and not many companies can afford to do so.
