[QUOTE="Rod90"][QUOTE="darksongbird"][QUOTE="garrett_duffman"] Thats why I did the smart thing and bought a DS lite a few months before the 3DS came out, started games, traded the ds for 3ds credit, and now continue to play a decent library on a system with no games.

Why couldn't you just wait for the 3DS instead of wasting money on a DS??

To appreciate the downgrade of general picture quality on the 3DS for DS games?

It is not a downgrade. The screen has more resolution so it is an upgrade but as you said, the picture quality of DS games gets a hit. It is not much but still noticeable.

[QUOTE="SgtNumNum"]

[QUOTE="soulreaper-4"] Nothing personal but this kind of mentality is what's killing games today. Many people are used to just see the ending sequence, take the disc out and that's it. They don't care about unlockables extras, etc.

Im not taken it personally, not everyone wants to sit down and go through the same game they just beat again. Thats just me, if i beat it im pretty much done. If it has extras thats fine but to me it doesnt really mean much to me. Honestly i dont see what the problem is with that, if some one is done with the game and dont want to play it again so be it.

same here. I also fail to see how killing 100 enemies with the usp to unlock money to buy drakes dessert costume is that special of an unlockable.

I'm trying to say that noadays most people put the games aside after seeing the credits. This when in reality you can play it later for a second time plus many just ignore that some games have extras and in some cases extra endings.

I'm feeling somewhat like you. In my case i bought it specifically for Ocarina of Time, The next Mario and some other games from Nintendo. But seriously after spending this long time with my 3DS i don't think it should cost $249.99. In fact it shouldn't cost more than $199.99 and that's a bit pricey, $169.99 - $174.99 seems right to me. I got a feeling i will find more appealing games on an upcoming portable. And this comes from someone that's been getting each Nintendo handheld since the Gameboy Pocket. I feel like i did a somewhat unwise decision and investment.

I'm having a blast playing offline in hardest difficulty. I've played the game online several times but this game is great offline and offline. That's if you like fighting games.

Oh, ok. I guess I wasn't paying attention when that happened. Nintendo usually goes years without dropping the price on games or consoles.TankZorz
Well but considering the DS Lite they don't lower prices as many use to think.

So far none, as I already had a skelly bag/purse thing for my ds lite that my 3ds seems to fit in perfectly..

However seeing as I have to drive 40 freakin min to gamestop today to get 2 WoW time cards I plan on checking out what kind of cases etc they have in stock for the 3ds..

EDIT:

Ok after going to gamestop and finding the case that Micro (user on this board) had told me about and seeing it in person I bought it in the color black.

http://www.gamestop.com/nintendo-3ds/accessories/3ds-microsuede-touch-pak/89893

It holds 3 games + 1 in the system = 4 games .. and it is VERY soft and durable, and the button close doesn't effect nor rub the 3ds in anyway, and it comes with 2 Huge stylus.. (which my hubby stole 1 of my new huge stylus for his ds since he says its perfect size stylus for men who have large hands, lol).

Imo well worth the $15 I payed for it.

other then the case the only other thing bought would be a crap load of regular ds games and 3ds games.

Hey i was tempted on getting that case but i am not to sure. The reason i don't know if the button is hard to close or makes pressure on the 3DS possibly causing damage in the long run. What about with the 3 games inside? Does it close without foce?
