Have you put your hands on a IPad? It's not the size of a handheld way too big and unconfortable to hold for long periods.
the wii is only a slightly better gamecube in terms of tech and look at the size of it when it came out it was tiny i think its perfectly reasonable to expect the new handheld to be somewhere between wii and ps3/360 (wont be as powerfull as them mind you) tech does advance quickly people seem to forget this
yeah, because the PS3 slim is still huge and the design is from less than a year ago. also, let's pretend it is possible to have something the size of the DSi, as powerful as a PS3 and with space for 2 LCD screens, one of them with extra hardware due to touch functionality. just tell me, is it still "portable" when it can't last more than 30 seconds away from the charger? What about those preatty big Fans that need to cool the inside ot the PS3 and 360? for me the 3DS will be almost like a GameCube or a portable GameCube with a 3D screen nothing more.
People are getting so hype for the 3DS that they aren't even thinking. The article doesn't say they capabilities surpasses the ones in the 360 and PS3, it say the CPU is close to those of these consoles. GPU doesn't means graphics and remember since the 3DS will have a 3D screen a big chunk of the proccessor power will be used by it in order for the 3D effects to work, nothing more.
yep YLOD you can't save your files now maybe if you can find someone to quick fix it then find a way to back it up then go out and buy a slim it's what i did

Ditto that. I fixed it twice, it worked for a month each time, it died again, I sold it on amazon, bought a slim. That's the proof that it isn't reapair by using those youtube videos. When you repair it that way and they system keeps failing again it means that's not the way to fix it. I've saw many peoples with the first 60GB model and after almost four years they are working perfectly.
well with ylod it has nothing to do with hard drive. its just the gpu and cpu (the 2 big squares on motherboard) got over heated and seperated from it. so all you gotta do is heat it up with a heat gun and your good to go. if your worried about dust you can go to one of computers stores like frys, and buy one of those computer made vacuums that sucks dust out without damaging anything
Getting a yellow light doesn't always means a separation from the GPU or CPU. 90 percent of the time it is Wow you know pecenstage and all, you must be a Sony rep from the repair center.

I really don't think a PSP 2 will be announced at E3. They just announced that new PSP GO owners who register the system from June 1 to march 2011 willl receive a three free games vouncher, the Meatal Gear bundle will arrives on the 8 of this month plus they announced another bundle for kindom hearths that will be availabe at the same $199.99 price on late september. its not gonna be out this year if there is one announced. i see it being a more summer next year release date. and if a psp 2 isnt announced most likely there will be the psp 4000 that will have fone capabilities..just my oppinion. On topic anyway the 3000 is the best i just was playing my sisters with modnationracers. quite amazing game for custom made user content A PSP 4000 announcement seems more posible.

They just announced that new PSP GO owners who register the system from June 1 to march 2011 willl receive a three free games vouncher, the Meatal Gear bundle will arrives on the 8 of this month plus they announced another bundle for kindom hearths that will be availabe at the same $199.99 price on late september.
I'm in the same situation. I am thinking of getting the green psp bundle but i would like to have the case not a little carton box like the other bundles.
That's what popular, non-necessary items do over-time, especially when it's something that you only have to buy once for your family to enjoy. Even so, the Wii's still selling at a pace that trumps any other gaming system you can think of for the amount of time it's been out not named the DS. The Wii's idea of "declining" would typically be the HD systems' idea of a really good month. Let's not forget that. :P
True indeed. However Both Sony and Microsoft are always updating theire consoles with newer features like being slimmer and having bigger hard-drives and it boosts sales. Wouldn't hurt Nintendo to atleast update there console too with HD720p after all have you seen those Emulated Wii games on youtube? being in 720p makes the games look frigging fantastic with no jaggies.
I would gladly pay 200$ or whatever forHD wii. Since i can't play my Wii because my TV is too big and playing a 480p console on a 1080p TV is too bad. It's all blurly and crap.
For one thing in order for the WiiHD to emulate Wii games in 720P it would have to be many times more powerful than the current Wii. Only fairly fast computers can emulate Wii games so most likely if they made a WiiHD that could emulate Wii games in HD it would cost way more than $200 as Nintendo charges that for its current hardware. Also this is a much bigger deal than just adding a new hard drive or making the Wii smaller, both of which could easily be done for the Wii but Nintendo so far doesn't even want to do that. Also I play my Wii on a 1080p set and it looks fine, 480p runs fine on an HD set. Now hooking a SNES game up in 224i, that's painful. The same here, i think the Wii runs fine in HD tvs. On my tv it looks great, it all depends on how well your tv handle SD and the quality of it.
