Ok so i'm thinking of getting a new Laptop but since i'm not a tech freak need help. I have no interest in a gaming laptop i'm just looking for one to use the internet, watch online videos in SD and HD, do college works in word and store pictures and wallpaper. I was looking at one at my local Officemax but it have a Intel Celeron processor of 2.0 Ghz.

After doing some research i have found that some site tells this processor is outdated plus my old Desk Top had a Celeron and everytime i tried to watch a Gametrailers.com HD video that aren't even 720p it looked like in slow motion and the Screen was 60 Hz. My brothers PC have a Anthlon 64 x 2 and doesn't do this.

1. Is this cause by the Celeron being outdated?

2. If i get a new Laptop with Celeron will i have trouble with those kind of videos?

3. Should i at least get one with a Pentium dual core processor?

4. Will a max support of 4GB of DDR2 RAM be sufficient for me?

The think with some Slims is not loud fans but a different high pitch noise. It should be the kind of fan it have like some forums people are telling.

False. I've had my 250GB Slim for 2 weeks now and it's stays on the first fan level and barley gets warm when its on. I play around 2 hours a day on weekdays, and 10+ hours a day on weekends, and my a/c is on constantly at 71.6 degrees faranheit.

Are you using it in a room with AC? Mines gets warm hot were the power supply is located, the temperature were is live has been very hot these months from 88 to 90.

I have the fat and the slim. neither one gets any hotter than the other. We play them for 10 hours at a time. No problems.

Seriously dude you are lying, the temperature were you live is cold or you have air conditioner unit were you are using it. Come on! since when you use an electronic unit like a PS3 or Gaming pc for 10 hours and it stays cold?
