Lessons to be learned:

1. Do not touch PS3's power and eject buttons with wet or soiled hands.

2. Do not excert too much pressure when pressing the power and eject buttons.

Here comes another one that talk before reading. I don't use the power and eject buttons with or without wet and soiled hands, i use my Sony Bravia controller to turned it on. And since i'm not using them i'm not doing pressure to them.

Ok so it seems like Sony is using lower quality materials for the Slim because it's been two months a some days more since i bought my Slim and the metallic panel were the on and eject buttons are located is losing the metallic color. It looks like a small stain but it's not a stain it is actually that the panel losing the metallic paint.

Before you ask, yes i take good care of the system and i rarely use the on button cause i use the Bravia Sync feature.

WTF u talking about? Its still like a mirror for me... i thought thats what they used LOL

I thought the same thing but no it isn't a mirror like metal it is plastic painted with metallic paint.

Is not that it's not working but even if that's cosmetic it is somewhat annoying, i wasn't expecting this.

[QUOTE="newhighscore"]

everyone is always sweatin games that are 1080. scientiffic study has shown that the human eye cannot detect the difference in pixels on a screen smaller than 60 inches. thats why most games are 720, cuz they know we all aint stackin like that ;)

CellAnimation
LOL, maybe you can't tell on a screen running a game at its native resolution _BUT_ a game running at 720p on a 1080p TV without decent upscaling hardware looks like garbage. If you don't believe this change the resolution on your LCD monitor to something lower... mmm nice and blocky.

Well that's if you got a gabage TV like: Element, RCA, Memorex, vizio, Viore or Sylvania.
