@ducusss @hitomo then go play your real games, you call of duty 22, and assassins creed 37 I'll keep playing games that do something new whether its an independent game or a big developer taking a risk.
@Crush_Project @stan_boyd @outlawst why aren't you complaing about dawn of war? it doesn't capture the full feel of the table top game, why does this game have to be exactly like the pnp games to be good while games like dawn of war and mechwarrior do not?
@Crush_Project @outlawst all video games based on PnP games has alot of skills missing, PnP is a total different style of gaming from video gaming. Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines is a great game but it has alot of the PnP stuff missing from it, Baldurs Gate is a great game but its missing alot of the skills and feats seen in the PnP game.
@mrboone01 @stan_boyd @midnight_trashh matter of opinion, While i didn't mind the neverwinter 2 campaign, I thought the first neverwinter nights official campaign was rather lame.
@Bowser05 @focuspuller I am terrible at writing campaigns, I have tried to GM in pen and paper games like Shadowrun, D&D and Rift, I am just not very good at creating a whole region and npc's. I do enjoy playing them though as a character in someone elses world who can create what I cannot.
@focuspuller ha ha I would create some content but I am not that creative, so I will leave that to the good creative people, its why in PnP stuff I am a player not a GM.
@midnight_trashh well if its too linear for you, use the game editor that is part of the game and make your own story for it, this is sorta like never winter nights where the campaign is there but its more about creating your own adventures and sharing them with the rest of the games community, pretty soon you will see all sorts of other campaigns cropping up.
@Atheosis well written is a matter of opinion, while I enjoy Baldurs Gate I found alot of the writing in it to be pretty hokey, especially Minsc and his pet Boo the miniature giant space hamster.
