I love that movie. The thought of portraying the phantom as a Vampire is... interesting.

At least it made for a very nice read.

Well, it's not excatly portaying him as a vampire. But I was thinking of making a vampire musical like The Phantom of the Opera and Sweeny Todd. Actually, it would probably be more like Sweeny Todd. I might write more songs, inlcuding one featuring my monster hunter Jacque Martez. I think it could be a very cool musical. Very epic, with huge fights, lots of blood, and lots of great music and songs.

I don't like the repetition on "stuck in here". Nothing wrong with that kind of repetition in general, but this time it just didn't work for me.

It is funny about cats - they really do have quite distinctive personality. I remember my friend's cats. He had two female cats (mother and daughter) and one male. The mother was a bit of a flirt, who always jumped up on my lap whenever we were playing video games, hoping for me to cuddle with her. The daughter was full of energy, and always had wide-open eyes, but it scared easily and prefered to be near its mother. The father was lazy, and always walked around like he was the sun king.

Sigh. Too bad I'm allergic to cats.

Well, I happen to like the repitiion of 'I'm stuck in here'. :P

You're allergic to cats? Then that's probably why that cat was jumping in your lap like that. Cat's seem to be able to sense when people are allergic to them. They also seem to get a kick out of being able to cause an allergic reaction. I know our cat does. Every time someone comes over that is allergic, even if they are a stranger, he'll run up tp them and start rubbing against them. They'll be like "I didn't know you had a ca-achooo!" And then he'll walk off like he's satisfied with himself.

In the future

I'm Stuck in Here.

I liked the repetition of stuck in here, actually! I don't think the structure would've worked without it.

"That frequently cleaned, just so I can use it"

That's.

Also the etc. after the list of things Noel doesn't like was jarring fro me. Didn't seem to fit the tone.

Bluescreen

"That is because laughter is a health benefit."

Well, it causes thema nyway. :P

"Yes, the doctor just sent her an e-mail saying so. She wanted to surprise you."

Doctors send e-mails like that?!

Anyway very clever and entertaining read! Excellent stuff. :D

It was supposed to be jarring, to contrast what he said before. If someone were reading that part aloud, it'd proably be mumbled.

As to Doctors sending e-mails like that, maybe in the future they would. Heck, recently there was a surgery (a fairly simple one) performed over the internet. They used a remote controlled robot. The doc was in New York, and the patient was in another country. So, who knows, maybe in the future you won't even have to visit a doctor's office. They'd make "house calls"! Also, they've done studies that've proven that laughter is a health benifit, contributing to better overall health, and a longer life span. So, please laugh!

Notes on Bluscreen:

The idea for this came to me when I was waiting for windows to load. I had the vague I idea of writing something having to do with a blinking computer promt. Then the story kind of took over. I really had no idea what I was writing until I was done.

Now that I read the story, I think its pretty good.

I think it speaks to some of the issues that could come up if an Ai really ever became sentient.

Like, what about all of out movies like the Matrix and Terminatior, would we let the Ai have accses to them?

Or, should Ai's be programmed not to lie?

How would an Ai reproduce, if it wanted to?

You've hit the reason for the subtilte for Beautiful Lady on the head, so to speak.
good idea for the breaks between verses. The formating was messed up when I pasted it.
