[QUOTE="starwarsgeek112"]

Well guys despite most people seeming to favor The Witcher, I decided to go for Mass Effect since I love sci fi and KotOR was one of my favorite RPGs. Thanks for every ones recommendations though.

DragonfireXZ95

What was the point of making a thread then? lol Personally, The Witcher is a better game. Mass Effect wasn't bad though.

lol I know it's a little contradictory to make this thread and then get the game that most people weren't recommending, but I decided that I'd rather play a sci fi rpg instead of a fantasy/medeival one. I'm downloading the demo for the Witcher right now, and if I like it I will most likely pick it up at some point.

There most likely wont be one. TOR takes place a couple hundred years after both of the games.. the sith came back from the outer rim and engaged in a full scale war with the republic.. and I'm assuming TOR will fill us in on the details on all of that, including what happened to Revan and what not. If we do get one it most likely wont be until after they stop supporting TOR and will take place after the events of that one.

First DLC comes on April 21st, I believe, I expect content to start coming more often after it is released. Similar to how TF2 is now regularly receiving updates.

Which is weird since I just updated my driver a few days ago, maybe I'm not installing it right or something, but after numerous reinstalls it keeps saying it is out of date.

I have a MSI HD r4670 and I just downloaded the newest driver off of the ATI Website which is version 8.591.0.0000, but L4D keeps saying my version is only 8.14.10.647

Maybe I'm just naive, but I'd think you'd be able to get your account back if you explained the situation and showed proof and everything.

The only major problems are that the AI can't do naval invasions and the poor path finding. Both will be fixed with time. Honestly, you people need to stop freaking out, TW ALWAYS has bugs at release.. stop getting your panties in a knot and acting like this is the buggiest release of a game ever. I'll also mention that my system is mid line and I have only experienced one crash so far.

Bioshock for $5, Left 4 Dead (yeah yeah complain all you want about lack of content, but it kept me entertained for some 40 hours.), and Empire Total War, are the ones that immediatly come to my head.

So someone explain to me how Dead Space isnt a Survival Horror game ?Sonic_on_crack

Silent Hill 2, the old RE games. Those are good examples of survival horror. Dead Space is a 3rd person corridor shooter.
